Shower cubicle was very very small, also a bit noisy from pub downstairs past midnight.

I wasn’t too keen on only having a skylight window, but we weren’t spending a lot of time in the room, so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Very little hanging space. No full length mirror. Dressing table/desk mirror not fixed to the wall so unable to see in it when sat at the table. Poor lighting at the end of the room without the skylight. The room wasn’t terribly clean.

Good location. Short walk from the nearest tube station and also not far to walk from Waterloo station. Very friendly staff. The one staff member we met when we checked in seemed to be doing a lot considering he was on his own. Spacious room. Large towels. Coffee machine, with plenty of tea/coffee available. Chilled water and fresh milk available. It was useful to have a small fridge in the room too.

There was moisture in the room, which could be related to the location, and it may affect the quality of sleep for some people. It did not affect mine, but my friend was thinking it affected her.

The room was big, and the bedding was very comfy and clean. The bathroom was very clean. There was a coffee machine in the room. The heating system was working well.

Nothing we did not like, but perhaps just a pointer for prospective guests: on weekdays, the pub opens at 3pm, so if, like we, you arrive in London in the morning and want to drop your luggage straight away and then head out to visit the city, it might be best to message the property beforehand to agree on a time. We were lucky to find someone in the pub when we got there around lunch, but I'm not sure if that's always guaranteed :-) Another pointer might be that the pub is in a relatively quiet area, so allow for some 15-30' to get to any place of interest. Warm welcome, friendly staff. Lovely, spacious room. A minor problem with the bath tub was resolved immediately. The pub is really nice and serves fabulous home-made pizzas! The pub doesn't offer breakfast, but staff can advise nearby cafés, AND there's coffee and tea in the room for those who prefer to have a quick bite in the morning before heading out. Various buses stop almost in front of the pub to take you to anywhere you want in London (N3, 59, 159 being the most important ones, taking you to Victoria, Aldwych and Westminter directly) and there are 2 tube stations 10-15' walking distance from the pub.

The room was a little dark. There wasn’t any breakfast on offer. But the food in the pub was excellent as usual.

Convenient for our end of term ‘gig’ at the Ship. Clean & welcoming. Food in the pub (we had a vegan pizza!) was excellent. The room was really worthwhile to book.

We were on the first floor above the pub, so it was noisy due to the music coming up through the floor.

The room was lovely and big, with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy. We loved the coffee machine with lots of coffee pods and the jar of sweets. The pub downstairs was nice and all the staff very friendly.

The last night I had to go downstairs at midnight about to say to the pub owners to low the volume of the music, it was too high. I was surprised to see that nobody, staff aside was in the pub, so no meaning of keeping that volume so high. Also the fact that they don’t clean your room if you don’t stay at least 3 nights.

Due to being on a main road, there was a fairly frequent stream of sirens passing by every once in awhile. Wasn't a huge issue for us as we're quite heavy sleepers.

Lovely staff and really liked the access to such a nice, cosy pub downstairs. The room was clean and great facilities available. Comfy bed and the location was in a good area with nice local pubs, and within walking distance to the London eye and other cafes.

Unfortunately our shower wasn't draining properly, any longer than 5 minutes & bathroom would've been flooded. We did leave a note & hopefully this has been resolved. There was some live music on 2nd night in bar that went on pretty late, meant listening to tv in room distracting & made going to sleep harder. If it had finished at 11pm it wouldn't have been as much of an issue for us.

I would happily book to stay here again. Friendly staff, easy check in, super comfy bed, big room & bonus with lovely pizza pub downstairs & easy walking distance into Westminster.

The room wasn't ready at 1500 when we arrived and we were advised it would be another hour. It was a very cold day and we didn't know the local area but fortunately we found a coffee shop close by. Ceiling light bulb didn't work when we got into the room but member of staff changed it for us. The shower gel was empty.

We had a very cosy room, although we only had a small window in the roof to let in daylight, which made it feel rather dark and confined, and which was not visible on the available photos. But not a dealbreaker at all, would still highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks and really nice staff at the pub, which makes it feel like coming home from our daytrips.
