The property was a bit grotty. It needed decorating. Could have benefited from a microwave also there was not enough cutlery for 4 people to eat. The shower attached to the bath didn’t work and the bath and other shower ran out of hot water very quickly.

The property was in a good location to get into town for the local pubs and restaurants.

The hot water was very hit and miss. The temperature of the shower was OK on the Friday but on both Saturday and Sunday, it was cold, boiling, cold and we couldn't get it to maintain a decent temperature.

The location was excellent. The house was well presented with good kitchen facilities.

The pros far outweigh the cons but a couple of things were there was no microwave or freezer/ ice box. The hot water pressure for the bath was not great but these were quite minor. It was a great place to stay.

It was immaculately clean and tidy. It was just charming. It was a ten minute walk to the Abbey and all the town sites and a perfect location.

We experienced the water, particularly while showering, going from hot to freezing which is uncomfortable. This happens on occasion and I cannot tel you why, but best to check it out.

Great little cottage with functional kitchen and small lounge area. Rooms were comfortable and the place was quaint and nice and warm.

The hot water ran either boiling hot or freezing cold. Did notice a few cobwebs around, but also cannot be helped due the style of housing.

How cosy it was. Beautiful home, very warm and welcoming.

The name of the house sign for the property was quite small, we walked up and down the road a few times as we missed it :)

The property was warm and cosy, it has all the amenities that you need for a weekend away or longer. Easy to find the parking space near the property and it is 5 minutes walk from the village centre. I would recommend this property.

The oven was dirty, had to clean baking tray before using as it had remnants of the last person's dinner on it. Old, hard towels. No WiFi. Stains on sofa and carpet make the place look a bit grubby. Not enough hot water for a bath.

Shower was broken as was bath plug. Looked a bit tired. Parking was great but directions to house from parking space were not clear was about a 5 minute walk which was fine as we were in the town.

It was difficult to gain entry and the WiFi information wasn’t easily available. The showers heat control doesn’t work properly. The main bedroom chest of draws is broken ( bottom draw) and the window stay is broken and is laying on the window sill.

I didn't like that the hot water wasn't working and the bed was hard. For some reason, there was a big spider under the pillow of the sofa.

alot of reviews have picked up on a few things that could do with cleaning/repairing and we found these were still in the same condition, a little tlc would improve the property. Our main complaint would be that the tv does not receive any channels and was only good for net flix and we were unable to connect to the wifi with our phones !!! as phone signal weak !!!

lovely little place right near the centre which makes it very easy to explore Malmesbury.
