As cute as a button! A smaller version of the cottage which featured in the film "The Holiday"! Lovely bird feeder outside the kitchen window. Comfy bed. Only minor downside was the TV is in the bedroom rather than the little sitting room / kitchen. Shower was excellent. Very clean and well equipped.

Lovely, quaint and cosy space. We loved our stay here and Simone has provided a beautiful space for a getaway. The 'best brownies' were very much appreciated and we ordered a cooked and continental breakfast which was all delicious and plentiful. Would happily stay again.

We wouldn't change a thing – a wonderful place to stay. It's essential to have a car if staying here as it's situated between Lewes and Brighton, which is why it's so secluded and peaceful.

Simone's attention to detail is exceptional, making our stay really comfortable and luxurious. We loved the seclusion and tranquility waking up in the cottage. A delicious breakfast on the doorstep each morning added the finishing touch.

Everything about the Snug was perfect! It is the most beautiful and quaint little space! I wish we could have stayed for longer! It was super cosy, extremely clean and wonderfully decorated. It has everything anyone would need for a short or long stay and being greeted by the beautiful dogs was definitely the cherry on the cake, not to mention the insanely delicious brownies! Everything about this accommodation is so well thought out and honestly everything we could have hoped for and more for our last minute get away!

Amazing breakfasts, all ingredients provided to cook an amazing breakfast delivered to the door each morning. Beautiful rooms, warm and cosy, everything fresh and clean, and wonderful chocolate brownies on arrival.

The little snug is just adorable, from the moment you walk in it feels like you’re staying somewhere special. There are just the most amazing touches around that make it clear that Simone has a fantastic eye for detail (and beyond) we really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

The breakfast was fabulous - we had both the continental and the cooked options - fresh and delicious. The sausages, bacon, eggs, bread and butter were so tasty. We took the homemade scones and croissants up to the South Downs and had a picnic - gorgeous views and an easy walk from the Snug. It was also lovely to see the birds on the feeders hanging by the windows - like a fairytale!

One of us could hear the traffic noise a little in the bedroom - but being near the A road meant it was easy to explore the region.

Very well appointed accommodation, fabulous breakfast boxes, up close to nature with the bird feeder outside the kitchen, very tranquill in the kitchen/lounge area.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Very pleasant flat, comfortable throughout. Warm enough when weather is cold. The provision of milk, coffee, etc was welcome. All items needed for kitchen are present. Nice view of bird feeder by kitchen. Frequent buses to Lewes and Brighton. Easy access to walking routes such as South Downs Way.

The property was a in suitable place for all coastal resort on the south coast Was clean comfortable and had all the bits you would need to get you started for great gateway. We didn’t have the breakfast option but am sure it would have be lovely.

Lovely cosy property. Perfect for a couple and a small dog. Lots of thoughtful welcoming touches for both humans and dogs. Very clean throughout and very comfortable bed . Great location for exploring the area. Free parking on property. Lovely garden. Great communicative hosts.

An extraordinary place to stay, so thoughtfully equipped and beautifully decorated. I love the style and everything was of the highest quality - beds, duvets, towels, crockery. It was very cosy in cold weather, lovely powerful shower, we used the sofa bed and it was very comfortable - not a compromise from a proper bed. The perfect stay.
