The beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was a bit shoddy, though clean. Currently, it's being rebuilt. Limited parking, expensive for the standard.

The outside terrace had a good view and allowed us to eat outdoors as the weather was nice. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The location was central to Saltburn. Generally clean. Shower was good. Breakfast food was good.

All the staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The location is by far the best in the whole of Saltburn. The terrace area with sea views and waiter service is excellent.

Building work going on. Scaffolding outside the room spoiled the view. The room rate was expensive given the state of the hotel.

Bathroom no slip mat no handles with bath in shower so difficult to get in and out. Overpriced paid well over £200 but still had to pay extra for breakfast. Little parking took all day to get our car parked on site Was given a free drinks voucher plus a extra two as birthday but you couldn’t use it as not eating there. Then this superior room had a huge fan thing outside that made a noise constantly. So had a disturbed sleep. I was considering it for a wedding venue and was greatly disappointed in all of the above problems they should ensure the car park is for patrons as it clearly wasn’t. They should ensure bathrooms are safe for disabled i am. And why gush and give drink vouchers we couldn’t use some birthday present I told them we where dining out, puzzled. It was a birthday gift left rather disappointed.

The room used for breakfast had no windows. I understand that they are in the process of refurbishing a conservatory, so I hope that will change. The breakfast was not very good.

The room with sea view was perfect, large and bright. The shower was very good. Great detail to include binoculars to appreciate the views. The Spa service, provided by Amber Rooms, was excellent.

Curtains were too thin so too light in the morning, some communal bits looking a bit tired. Would be nice to give the building outside our window a lick of paint to make the view across to the sea bit better.

Only place available to eat or drink was outside due to a function inside the hotel on the night. Good job the weather was nice. Am receptionist wasn't interested after we gave a piece of feedback, when asked, and was met with a very negative response. Room chilly in morning , tried to turn valve on but no luck. No personal touches for £175 a night

Sea view was to the side which wasn’t clear in the booking. Tables outside all continually full with people not staying in the hotel. Dining area has no windows and needs updating Bar area a bit dark and dingy!

On arrival building work in progress, reception entrance shabby wall paper coming off on the ceiling, side entrance step Brocken, general not what you would expect for over £200 a night,which didn't include breakfast. Got to our room, 1 very small window,the room smelt horrible, complaining to reception we were moved to a nice room. Not good enough

Air con was broke and the tv was tiny and couldn’t get any channels ..£215 is very steep price would maybe included a treatment or breakfast in with that for the superior room.

Maybe a little background music in the restaurant for a little romantic evening.

Although I had to leave early for work my wife had breakfast and had told me that everything continental was fabulous,with fresh fruit and everything that goes along with it. Plus for a small fee a English style breakfast.

When seated outside the bar is quite a walk away Maybe an idea to have table service during busier times as at one point I went to the bar and when I got back someone had taken my seat.

The view was amazing and the outdoor live singer was a nice touch And pet friendly
