The fridge in the room was noisy and breakfast was a little disappointing as there wasn’t much choice. The croissant I had though was fresh. We couldn’t get subtitles to work on the tv which I need.

Comfy room and generous provisions of tea and coffee. The bathroom had a large shower and separate bath. In a good location and easy to find just outside of Stratford upon Avon

The state of repair/decoration in the bathroom could have been a little better, but this was a minor issue.

The location was wonderfully quiet and the room had lovely ambience.

Pub recently refurbished and seems vibrant. Rooms clean warm and comfortable. What really made our stay great was the really outstanding staff. We stayed over Christmas while visiting family. The restaurant was closed on Christmas Day so we had trays delivered to our room. Fresh danish pastries, orange juice, sweets and chocolates. Topped off with individual bottles of Prosecco. The next morning we had a potential medical emergency with my elderly mother. Boy did they step up! So kind and helpful while we were waiting for the ambulance. All was well in the end but the staff really made it so much easier for us. Thank you. As an aside they say they are dog friendly. Some places say this but barely tolerate dogs. The Stag gave our Labrador a huge welcome and made a real fuss of him. Buildings are fine with hotels. What makes them are good staff. This was excellent.

Lovely stay, beautiful setting, Could be more clear about breakfast, which is cereals and toast, which is ok, but you have to dig to find that the cooked breakfast is extra, still a nice stay though

The bathroom in my room had little ventilation and had some mould in the shower. Considering it had been renovated relatively recently (I believe) I would of thought this should have been addressed. There was also alot of air fresheners including in the stair way and in the room itself, and while they were pleasant smells it was a little excessive and overpowering.

Room was lovely and cosy. Everything was clean in the bedroom itself. The breakfast was nice, I only used it as a pit stop while travelling but would stay there again. Lots of parking and a good selection of food on the menu.

It was a little bit cold in the lounge area. However it was a minus 5 night outside.

The staff were extremely friendly & chatty. The general atmosphere was inviting & cheerful. The food was excellent & we enjoyed eating it.

The step up to our patio could have been less steep but a minor problem

Exceeded our expectations, even faulty heating was quickly rectified. Jenny, the housekeeper was superb. The Piston Club was delightful with a well presented menu without being fussy, service with a smile!!!

Very comfortable room with larger than average bathroom. Nice inner courtyard with plenty of free parking. The continental breakfast was superb with the option to upgrade to full English breakfast options. We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch with other family members.

Nothing major but there was an online check in and check out process, on checkout the website asked me to report to reception but the staff didn't know why.

Nice to have own entrance to rooms without going through pub. additional heater provided. Comfy beds and warm shower. Had a great stay 😀
