The pillow cases had marks on them. Dust on the lil’ unit by the toilet - no heating but I was given an electric heater when I pointed this out.

Location was ideal. Free parking was a touch. Customer service was outstanding, Jack, (I think was his name) kindly assisted me with carrying my suitcase as I had a baby in a car seat and there were additional steps after leaving the lift. He also brought up some bits I had delivered unexpectedly.

The rooms are in need of updating, the paper is becoming un-stuck in a few places and clearly there has been a few leaks

Good parking, the rooms are clean but a little tired and dated, the kitchenette was a nice touch, an easy walk to the BCLM and the zoo

We didn't know you had to book for breakfast, we assumed you just go in the hours of 7am-10am so missed out on that.

Clean smells, 24hour staff, close to where we were visiting, easy booking in and easy access in and out of the property, great food and loved the shower.

Having to walk through the bar from the car park to get to reception . I liked it when you could enter from the Banqueting doors. The modernization of the rooms was also sad to see especially as the 'finish' was 'rough' . Rooms need more lighting - 'bed side lamps' - the led behind the beds are not great for reading - just for ambiance.

Loved the laundry facilities and games room. Comfy beds. great value. good location. ( maybe a little bias as I grew up in Dudley ;) )

Shower cubicle was very small. Towels were small and paper thin. Unfortunately the location was so noisy all night long due to being on a very busy junction of a main road - loose man hole covers banging as every vehicle drove over them, sirens, motorbikes and cars racing down that stretch of road. Windows weren't double glazed so even keeping them shut didn't make any difference. Because of this, I wouldn't return to this hotel. Obviously when the hotel was built the surrounding area would have been more rural. Money needs to be spent on making it more suitable for the circumstances now.

Bed was very comfortable, room and ensuite shower room were clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The kitchenette was unexpected and it was good to have a fridge and more if we were staying longer.

As the main entrance way to the Reception desk at the front of the building was closed, it was necessary to go round the back in search of an alternative route through the "Office Bar". More information about the food options available for breakfast and dinner when checking in would have been helpful.

The Station Hotel is conveniently located for a stop-over in Dudley, It is very close to Dudley Castle and Dudley Zoo. My room was clean and tidy. The 'Peaky Blinders'-themed 'Office Bar' located below the hotel bedrooms has friendly staff and a very good sound system.

Some of the buildings were below standard, the owner is making every effort to put the shortcomings correct and good luck to him

Friendly staff particularly the owner/chef/bar tender/font of knowledge. The homage to Peaky blinders makes this a special place to visit.

Struggling through doors with pram for the lift, no second locking mechanism on inside of room to stop toddler opening door, had to barricade door so our little treasure didn’t try to escape. Other than zoo or museum you have to get in the car to do anything.

Size of room, kitchen in room very helpful when travelling with children. Location great for Black Country living museum (the reason for our trip) and zoo.

Bar is closed to non-ticket holders on event nights. Only one person working in the kitchen meant delays on food. Lift not working.

Clean, comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, complete with kitchenette and en-suite bathroom with shower. Free parking. Quick check-in and check-out. Room key also has radar key for front door. Bar restaurant to rear and banqueting suite for hire. Nearby attractions include castle/zoo and living museum, cinema and restaurants.

The free coffee and tea was poor, all but one packet of coffee were empty, put in the jar upside down. Just as well we had our own.

The kitchen facilities are good. Because we have been before we brought with us bowls to cook porridge in.
