Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Appreciated the extra touched like fresh milk, tea and coffee available on arrival. Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Lovely and cosy and great location.

Lovely property attached to the side of the owners house. Just perfect for myself and my husband and super quiet. Right next to the railroad tracks as the name suggests but if you are inside you can’t hear anything of them so really was lovely and quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely perfect for two; a warm, cosy and spotless place situated next to the railway. House so well insulated that you don’t hear the trains but wonderful to see them. Great garden and terrace but not the weather this time!! Warmly welcomed by the hosts. Perfectly situated for beaches, walks and everything.

Previous guests have not been respectful with kitchen equipment, ie frying pan quite scratched.

Perfect size for us as a couple plus pet, comfortable furniture and good lighting in all rooms. Beautiful garden and 2 terraces to enjoy the sunset.

Fab location from which to base your exploration of Cornwall. Enjoyed seeing the trains and our excellent host, Ian, changed the flags everyday. It became a wee challenge to work them out. Sitting out in the garden in the evening was a pleasure. Relaxing and chilling. Had a fab time.

For us just a little too far out in the sticks but we should've researched location more before booking. Would be ideal for someone looking for complete peace and quiet

Brilliant little lodge and hosts were more than helpful and friendly, but gave us all the privacy of being at home. Great base to explore Cornwall, and you get more than what you pay for.

Its peaceful location and countryside. The gardens were secure and had plenty of space. There were outdoor sitting areas to choose from one of which was covered. The kitchen was large with all the amenities required. The lounge was comfortable and included a table for dining on.

The location was good - rural but within easy reach of town and the hosts were very friendly & helpful. The property was comfortable and had what I needed for the few days I was there.

The only constructive comment is the quality of the towels, very thin and didn’t dry very well ! I bought some nice fluffy ones from Asda !

Lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for us when our car broke down Amazing local farm shop/restaurant within a 5 minute walk that has must-have desserts! Near to some lovely beauty spots.

The bed was comfy but a little bit too narrow.

Our hosts were super friendly and very helpful, we were even greeted with our national flag flying in the garden, that was so sweet. There was milk, coffee, salt and pepper in the kitchen and a chocolate on our pillows. It couldn't be nicer. There is a nice view from the patio onto the garden and the evening sky. It is near a wonderful beach.
