The one minor improvement I would suggest is that on arrival you are asked to sign a form without any explanation that asks quite strange questions e.g. "what is your nationality", "Do you agree to be responsible for your own safety" and "are you happy with the evacuation procedures" (or to that effect) without being shown any paperwork on such procedures. I was asked to just sign yes to this question and presumably it is because the hotel is not staffed overnight. I don't think you can really ask people to sign things without giving them the information they need, especially when it comes to personal safety. Also, we did think that table service could be a bit quicker at dinner time, the staff were really friendly but not the quickest at taking orders and bringing drinks etc.

We were really impressed by the Stork. It was cosy, clean and freshly decorated (in our room, the corridors are clearly undergoing renovation) and the shower was super powerful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great and nicely presented, and we loved how we could nip down to dinner in the evening and back up to bed. Couldn't have asked for more really! I'd recommend!

Great location close to the venue of a wedding we were attending. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great!

Heating of the room, temperature was too hot. Wouldn’t allow an early check in for our family or allow me to drop luggage off ( we was at a wedding all day) had to leave the wedding venue to check into the Stork ! Causing inconvenience. The Stork did not return my telephone calls and I rang the hotel 3 times before the stay !

Comfy bed in friendly pub hotel. Good pub food, location perfect for access and walks. Looking for stop over heading north or south, this fits the bill.

Place was really nice, rooms brilliant & evening meal was great. Except for my Wife's meat that was really salty. Breakfast was disappointing as my Poached egg was hard. But saying that, would definitely recommend this place if I visited the area again. So thank you.

We were a little surprised that we were all in so close together but it wasn't really a bad thing. This is us being a little bit fussy but we don't drink full fat milk so a semi skimmed option in the room would have been great.

Breakfast was excellent and the children loved it. Was really great to have this included in the price. We also loved the 11am checkout as we felt less rushed to leave the room. Staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. OOh and the Espresso machine in the room was an absolute winner!

Nothing really, except maybe the £20 addition for the dog which was a bit expensive, when the last hotel was €5.

Superb hotel close to our M6 route with amazing breakfast included. Recently re-opened in Aug 2022 after a devastating fire so the rooms and facilities were like new, very comfortable and welcoming. The pub and restaurant downstairs had excellent food and pets are welcome. The ample tea and coffee facilities in the room with biscuits was a welcome treat.

Lovely place great food and staff friendly and polite. The room was comfortable and spotless. Excellent facilities in bathroom which was nice. Food was delicious definitely recommend the desserts. Couldn't fault it will be back for sure!
