Personally I was put off eating in the restaurant by the strong doggy smell, but appreciate this is a dog friendly hotel, bar and restaurant, so just chose to eat elsewhere - my decision. Staff were not unfriendly, but definitely could have been more "available". No small talk checking in, just recitation of facts and breakfast staff, including the chef, were quite brusque.

Great location, easy to find, has own carpark. Room clean, comfortable and a good size.

Our room was upstairs and at the back and it was a bit of a journey to get there! It was nice enough for one night but if it had been more I’d have upgraded to a larger version

Located right in the centre of the town

    Not a thing!

Nice hotel in the main road of Pitlochry. Comfortable room with all amenities. Stayed at the unit across the road. Had a nice breakfast. There was a pub/ restaurant at the main hotel which was very nice. The personnel was friendly and the service excellent.

Paid for premium room £370 for 2 nights. Room was directly above the rear door behind the bar. The view from our window was refuse and empty beer kegs. Door opening and banging closed over and over. One single chair in bedroom for two people. Tiny travel.kettle providing enough water for one cup of tea at a time. Hardly worth the premium price.

Dinner was disappointing - it was overpriced and think it was quantity over quality for the main dishes.

Breakfast was really good. A decent amount of options.

    Expensive soft drinks!

really nice pub/hotel situated on the main road minutes from the train station. Modern stylish bar ideal for drinks, food and watching live sports. The breaded fish for dinner was excellent.

After leaving a well-deserved tip for our waiter following our evening meals we were shocked on finding that an automatic gratuity of £6.02 and £5.95 for the two evening meals, had been applied to our final bill. I'm sure it'll be in the small print somewhere , but a bit sneaky all the same. Beware!

Great central location beside train station and bus top. Clean, comfortable room. Good free sat smart tvs. Good food and drink.

The room (304) in the townhouse could do with being done up a bit. The windows let in a lot of cold and obviously some old leaks from the roof that have caused some damage that could do with repair.

Hotel was lovely and clean. The food was really good. Especially the steak pie and the bacon rolls! Staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll be back!

Found the location of reception rather strange and didn't like the access door set up from the rooms back in to the reception area using our room card. It sometimes didn't work and we felt a bit trapped. Even if a glass paned door can be installed so reception can see guests ? We found ourselves knocking on door to get out.

Location, central and perfect to navigate around. Minutes walk from train station and car parks. Hotel room modern and bathroom had a double shower unit / power shower and luxury soaps, which was a real treat. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast (full Scottish breakfast) was fabulous, best tattie scones I've ever tasted ! We ate dinner in the bar restaurant and service was quick and friendly staff. Food was good. Pricey however everything in Pitlochry seems expensive ! Loved the white pudding from the Mckays chippie next door.
