Lack of Staff at the bar receptionist was the barstaff so if they were checking customers in & on the phone so had to ask if anyone was serving Lack of choice for drinks No towel changes over the 3 days we were there.Possilbly I could have asked but shouldn't have to

We had a sea view room but it made it cold in the room and the window was misted. I appreciate it takes a battering with being on the sea front. Our room was dated and tired and not like the one on the booking site. I think we may have got a grotty room due to having our 2 little dogs with us.

The hottel was clean but our room was tired and so were the stairways. It was clean however and the staff were great and friendly. It was ideally placed on the main sea front.

Unfortunately our room had a saniflo toilet and it was very noisy when you flushed it or when you used the shower or wash hand basin . But the room was very clean and a good size

There was no provision for locking up Cycles but we were allowed to lock them up in a unused room.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and had nice view over the bay. The breakfast was very good with plenty of selection.

at £95 per night I would have expected the breakfast to be in the price, and served fresh not self service that was nearly cold as it had been too long left in warmers. also I didn’t expect to pay extra to park in the car park.

Room was excellent. Think it might have been recently refurbished - bathroom was to a really good standard. Had a lovely sea view which was an unexpected bonus. Reception staff on the Saturday evening very helpful (ordered a taxi which were in short supply!) and pleasant. Checking out on the Sunday morning the lady on reception was cheerful, polite and friendly. Ample free parking on the road outside. Would definitely stay again.

What let the hotel down was the restaurant side . The breakfast was a buffet breakfast which was not satisfactory . The restaurant food was very poor.The only night we ate there we sent our main course back ,,very below par ,hard new potatoes ,tinned peas with over cooked veg . Starter was cold soup . Most people there at the time were not happy .

For the price we got all we expected so nothing to dislike

The staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. The rooms were satisfactory and the beds comfortable. Everywhere was very clean if a little run down. Breakfast was generous.

Bit dated could do with re- decorating, Some of the doors could do with soft closure fitting,as kept banging as late night guests came in.

Meals were good nice breakfast, very friendly staff evening entertainment good.

Hotel is in a scenic location overlooking the bay.Room was lovely and looked as though it had been recently decorated and refurbished.

The function suite was cold on both nights I was there, that could hopefully improve.

I did not have breakfast, as I my breakfast consists of cereal and toast, therefore I was not willing to pay £10.
