The facilities need updating in the toilet/ bathroom. The cleanliness was below what I expected. Lots of dirty marks on the door to toilet and bathroom, cobwebs behind wardrobe, a general build up of dirt and dust in corners and behind doors, taps need to be lime scaling. One of the blinds to the window was broken. The bed was 2 singles zipped together which made it very uncomfortable.

On arrival the hotel looked beautiful. We stayed in the suite, the beams were a lovely feature.

The rooms are in need of updating. There was no one on the reception and they seemed very under staffed. The service was slow in the bar area and for breakfast. The staff were all very young and didn't seem to have any leadership (NOT THERE FAULT)

the location was good for what we needed. The hotel all looked very good from the outside and the bar/restaurant area have been updated.

Booked a premier room. No lift to upper floor, explained that have mobility issues so might need help with bag, told to come and ask if I couldn't manage! Room very dated, very hot, radiators came on even though it was in the 20's! Bed was comfortable. Toilet was interesting, not fixed to the floor so wobbled, seat was loose. Curtains were hanging off and table lamp was broken. No option to have cereal or fruit for breakfast, no cold drink option, asked for iced water and received warm tap water.

Lovely cooked breakfast. Room was very clean, fresh bed linen. Lots of towels available.

Room was dirty. Shower was very dirty. Had to clean the drain out myself with a wooden tea stirrer so the water would drain away. Dust and cobwebs along the top of the bed head, used stirrers and dust in drawers.

Needs updating. The bathroom is very small with nowhere to put anything. Couldn't turn off the bathroom radiator, although this was corrected by staff the next morning.

The “so called” shower in the room was awful. The shower head was ridiculously low and it had no shower screen so pretty pointless really. The bed was extremely hard and and it felt like I was sleeping on the floor.

Bathroom was not completely clean. Behind toilet was a half used toilet roll, covered with cobwebs and the floor behind the toilet had not been cleaned at all. Plughole in shower was very dirty with black scum and a lot of hair. The Plughole in the sink was also dirty. There was a lot of dust around the room and many cobwebs. Bed and bed linen were both very clean. No decaffeinated coffee available in the room or at the bar.

Good location. Breakfast was good. Good value for money.

Breakfast was a little shambolic , the manager seemed to be running around , no other staff to greet you or guide you as to seating. Requests for ordering seemed to be a hassle for the one staff member.I tried the Pancakes Which were unfortunately not cooked properly, request for more coffee didn’t arrive. We gave up trying to correct . More staff appeared but not to help with breakfast which was a shame . A nice hotel just let down by the breakfast arrangements, a little more organisation/delegation needed.

Noisy room on a busy road/roundabout. Hot and no Ventilation, just windows which just added to the noise …. Finally calmed in the wee small hours for a short while! The bathroom fitout was ancient and poorly touched up. Slippery bath/shower which is difficult to access, definitely not for older or slightly disabled. No cereals etc on the breakfast menu, just cooked.

Hotel was rater dowwdy & old fashioned & my room was too small & Bed was uncomfortable. Duvet was too heavy & warm. When I took the duvet off I was then too cold so either way I could not sleep. Restaruant was over priced for size of the portions.

As said above, the radiator needs fixing. Thats all really.

The service, the style of the rooms and the practicality of the property. Only issue was that the radiator was faulty and wouldn't turn off. it was warm all night. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was really nice.

Room 9, was very hot, but did have a fan in the wardrobe. Had to keep the window open but was by the exit and smoking area which was noisy and got the smell of smoke. also bed was very squeaky.
