All great except the woman at the spa told us she was giving us a twilight session for free, then it appeared on our bill! Not a huge problem just weird.

The staff took ages to acknowledge us stood at the bar for a drink in the afternoon and during our evening meal. The spa was nice however was ruined by a couple who continuously were filming in every part of the spa including the showers when we tried to have a shower after the sauna. Some of the decor seemed to need updating and thought the room was quite standard and we could hear everything the people were saying in the next room late at night.

Bedroom far too warm. Bar menu perhaps needed a chicken dish on. Just lacked a bit of choice.

Breakfast was superb. Dinner in the Brasserie was absolutely fantastic.

Staff weren't informative at all. Didn't know we could use the pool, didn't know where to take the dog for wees and poos (everywhere seemed to have a no wee and poo sign), nothing in the room for the dog, no dog menu at dinner or breakfast. Weren't informed about the breakfast buffet. Wine menu is confusing and expensive.

Amazing food with great veggie AND vegan options! Room was spacious and shower was excellent (pressure etc.). Good location for exploring the south Lakes and we cut across to Richmond on the way home which was an added bonus.

Our meal service was very poor. Incorrect meal sent, then I had finished my meal before my partner started his. My dinner wasn’t too good. Roast potatoes tough - certainly reheated. We were not charged for husbands meal - but really we r we liked just have liked to eat together. It was our Wedding Anniversary!

Lovely location, excellent walk by the lake, especially in the snow. Swan lovely warm and cozy.

Food was expensive and description of spa facilities a little misleading as indoor facilities included though no mention/photos of a gym and outdoor spa facilities either added to price of stay or an extra £30 each( photos show both indoor and outdoor facilities as if all one).

This is a lovely hotel with great spa packages and facilities. We stayed for a few nights and ate at the hotel restaurant once, the food was really good. The hotels in a good location for walks and a short drive to popular tourist attractions and hiking spots. We also had a spa package with afternoon tea which was lovely. I would recommend staying

The staff at reception and in restaurants friendly and caring. The facilities are excellent. Location super at bottom of Windermere. Easy to get to the rest of the lakes scenery, villages, attractions and activities.

Sadly had a really poor nights sleep, pillows & were very uncomfortable, a real shame as the rest of the stay was brilliant

The in-house pub/brasserie is a little expensive, service could be better here at breakfast time!
