The breakfast was good - the restaurant had already set a very high standard with dinner the previous night. The room was clean, comfortable, seemed recently decorated and while not huge made very good use of the space available. The staff at the Swan were accommodating and helpful during the booking process and during our visit.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the pub, room was perfect clean and everything we needed. Perfect venue from train station for sandown racing.

It was difficult to make the room fully dark.

The venue is very nice, including the pub. Staff was helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very good.

The only down side of the bedroom was limited desk space. Had arranged for earlier access to breakfast room which unfortunately didn't happen and only opened at 8am, which made we a little late, but the breakfast was worth it!

Good location for following days 1st meeting, room was small but very comfy, bonus having air conditioning, great shower. Food was unusual but having tapas for evening meal was quite enjoyable and a break from the normal offerings. Breakfast was lovely start to day.

Lights from outside the room do get past the blinds and we had to sleep with our eye masks on in order to block out the light. Also took a long time for us to figure out how to lock the door (which sounds silly but it required a bit more than just turning the key to get it to lock).

Well situated room on the bus line that we used to get to our dinner location. Very small room, but that was fine for our quick stay. Breakfast was interesting (a slight twist to the full english) and parking was limited but we were able to get a spot due to arriving a bit earlier.

Nothing not to like. Only the bed in our unit needs to be checked as it is a bit lopsided, but it wasn't terrible. And the rooms are a bit small but not unusual for the UK.

Beautiful accommodations - modern and clean, well maintained premises. Location is great - beautiful green surroundings. It's also easy to catch a taxi or Uber from there. Lovely atmosphere created by the staff and regular patrons from the community - we found people warm, welcoming and helpful. The food was great! Breakfast was a treat and the coffee is absolutely lovely! One of my best and I'm a stickler for good coffee in the morning! The neighbourhood is safe and the air is so clean!.Easy check in and check out process. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!

Rooms were immaculate, food was fanatic & staff were amazing. Hugh made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Jamie looked after us 1 night & all other staff were brilliant.

Everything was good - maybe a small distance from racecourse but nothing an Uber couldn’t sort!

The Swan Inn was a gem of a find - customer service was professional and friendly, the accommodation and restaurant was clean and comfortable and the food and ale were excellent. The manager Huw was great - really helpful as were all his staff - created a nice atmosphere.

Heating system was a bit of a challenge, and no instructions in the room. Power points but no USB sockets. Shower excellent on 'overhead' but the knob to hold the handheld attachment not working.

Superb breakfast! Most unusual (for me) to have a vegetarian breakfast, but it really was unexpectedly good. Included softly cooked red peppers, mushrooms, an entire avocado (thinly sliced) and lovely (rustic) toast, as well as the usual eggs, etc, cooked any way you want. Traditional breakfast also available, of course. Room quilt was lovely and warm. WiFi good.
