We had room 7 the garden room, which was very pretty but unfortunately we had a group of very loud ladies in room 8 ,which had a connecting door with no soundproofing, who didn’t drop until 1 am !!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing especially the Sunday roast. Lovely clean and comfortable room.

My only bit of feedback would be the breakfast felt a bit minimal compared to other stays we’ve had, but overall it was good

Really good location, staff are lovely and it’s super cosy. Outdoor garden is excellent and food and drink choice is great

Was slightly disappointed by the food options for dinner was expecting more considering location and local produce etc. Felt it was slightly overpriced for the stay considering it was only a continental breakfast included.

Location was perfect and had a lovely room especially the bathtub in the room.

Excellent. We booked almost all the rooms for a weekend with the girls and the hotel was perfect. Had two great meals (one in the private room which is lovely) and the other in the main bar enjoying pizza. The hotel even catered for our GF needs. Breakfast excellent too.

Lacking in parking spaces but I did manage to get one, but I woudlnt hold that against it, there is parking on the road.

Rooms where well decorated clean and cosy, also comfortable with plenty of toitletries, tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful, and go out of there way to help you. Food was excellent and the location is exceptional.

    There was mothing we disliked.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was beautiful, it was a shame we didn't have more time to explore the area further but hopefully we will be back again. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. The plug on the basin needs the chain attached again as it made it almost impossible to remove it!

Room 4 is very hot as it is above the kitchen but if you open the widnow you are just above the extractor fan, so it's either too noisy or too hot.

Great staff, lovely food, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Just lovely!

Beautiful inn in a Cotswolds village
    • Leisure trip

    • Stayed 1 night

We stayed in an old building, and unfortunately sound isolation wasn't the best. Our neighbours had a room upstairs and we heard every footstep and every word. But they went to sleep early so at the end it wasn't too big of a deal, but I definitely recommend bringing some earplugs.

It's a classic inn with a beautiful pub and beer garden attached to it, we absolutely loved the atmosphere. The buildings are made out of beautiful stone, the room was very nice and comfy, we had good wifi, great food. We definitely had a lovely time.

The little window on the door needs a blind or suffer as the sun shines through first thing in the morning straight into the bed

We stopped in the Cobb room ,which was located down the side of the property, with its own entrance. That was great for us as we took our 2 little dogs The room was perfect good bathroom and a bonus little room where the dogs slept

We loved everything about the Inn, located in a beautiful village, nearby Oxford and the Cotswold villages we wanted to visit. We had a lovely, cosy 'cottage' for our family, with private entrance, in the 'beer garden', actually a very nice terrace to the animated pub. Staff was friendly and accommodating, also toward you children. We had a very agreeable mini-break!

the bathroom / wet room felt a little impractical as the entire floor got soaked headboard was a bit tired looking the interconnecting door to the next room meant we could hear every sound from the people next door to us.

staff were excellent. breakfast was lovely. the atmosphere in general was very pleasant. bathroom products lovely. really nice towels and bed sheets
