Just a shame it’s noisy & a bit to light in the rooms in the morning could do with darker curtains.

Room was too warm but this wasn’t helped by the thunderstorms rolling in and increasing the temperature. A minor quibble.

Staff were absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and friendly. Even offering to gut some fish we’d caught and refrigerate them for us.

Our room faced the road, therefore, was noisy until about 2230. The second night, we bought a small fan and kept the windows closed. Much more peaceful.

The staff were professional and very friendly. The food was excellent and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend the Swan Inn to others.

The only slight negative was quality of towels which weren’t very absorbent for drying off after shower.

Comfortable clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good central location with parking although parking a little limited and not guaranteed. The highlight was the food, both evening meal and breakfast were excellent and we were impressed. Not sure if they cook every evening so check beforehand.

If I'm being ultra fussy the bed was a tiny bit squeaky but comfortable to sleep in. The pillows were huge and fluffy.

I have never felt more comfortable in a b&b. The lady helped with my suitcase up and on the way out. Everything was explained like I was an individual. Friendly talk, but also left in peace. The breakfast was amazing. There were options available, I asked for items not to be added so my photo isn't the standard and I was stuffed. Toast, local jams and butter. Best bacon I've ever eaten. I will definitely stay again.

A lovely town hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very tasty. Would definitely stay again!

Could've done with a small desk/table, although the room's size didn't allow for it. (This may just be a personal preference.) The outside street, which my room overlooked, was quite busy overnight, which made for a slightly disruptive sleep, but besides that, I slept well.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout the whole stay. Definitely made to feel welcome and as if one were staying at another's home. Heating was efficient and kept me warm overnight. Breakfast, which was included in the nightly rate, was quite extravagant and filling. I had a full English breakfast with a pot of tea and a pitcher of orange juice. I could've probably packed what I didn't eat for a lunch takeaway!

Towels were thin, the radiator was slow to work, and it needed bleeding as it was only warm at the bottom on one side. Corridors were cold and sensor lights only came on after ascending the stairs.

Staff were more than helpful and went above and beyond. Food at the Ugly Duckling Restaurant was amazing and well worth the wait. The restaurant was part of the hotel and very warm and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy. There were two chairs which was nice, plus a refreshment tray.

The location for us was great, the staff were all really lovely, couldn't do enough, we used the ugly duckling restaurant for evening meal which was excellent and reasonably priced, the breakfast was also excellent!
