Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomTiny TV difficult to watch from bed. Some mould in the shower. I think (even though I didn't have children with me but I have grandchildren & was concerned that if they were with me) that there should be child-proof latches on the windows, particularly in the bathroom where there is a deep window sill which a child would love to sit on.
Welcoming, extremely helpful & supportive staff. Comfy bed, ensuite bathroom, hot drink making facilities. Good breakfast with helpful staff.

United KingdomThe one thing they can't do anything about, the pub is on a busy road junction and the noise can be invasive. If you want peace and quiet this, despite all the positives, not the place for you.
Check in, friendly and concise. Locals, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was an optical illusion, when served didn't look as though there was much to eat, 10 minutes later very full, everything cooked to perfection.

The location was ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean area. Our room was comfortable and clean with an exceptionally large bed. The staff were all friendly and helpful.. What a fabulous breakfast, cooked to order using local ingredients. There are plenty of places within walking distance, to eat out in the evenings including the Swan itself. We highly recommend Amigos and Saffron Balti. We couldn't have asked for a better few days break.
