A small thing - it was hard to figure out where to check in (there was a door marked 'Reception - staff only', but never found the actual reception mentioned in the booking info).

Fabulous setting on the river Teme. The Talbot has plenty of ambiance and a good selection of local beers. Great breakfast too. All in all, a very agreeable stay.

Rooms are basic, but comfortable. This is reflected by the price. 😄

Dining - Excellent Dinner and complementary breakfast. Beer Garden - There are 2 of them. One with a play area for children, and a larger one next to the river.

Our bed was very squeaky, any slight move, which was annoying & disturbed our sleep sadly, the shower was cold for me but my partner managed to get his warm with a little turning of the no s so maybe they could add instruction.

The location, staff & food were excellent. They have a lovely bar, dining room & beer garden & our view from our room was stunning!

Very uneven and creaky stairs, but acceptable for the age of the hotel.

Room had a nice view of river. Food breakfast and evening meal was very good. Location was excellent for our purposes, lovely walks within easy reach of Worcestershire wildlife centres. Beer was very acceptable, being the local producer.

My bed had a big dip on one side and I think investing in some more modern Tempur style mattresses at some point would be a good idea. It wasn't an uncomfy bed as such but I think a new mattress would satisfy all guests.

The food is legendary here. Really really ace. The location is really nice and the pub always friendly and with great service. Annie the owner is always nice and Abi was brilliant both behind the bar and serving. There was a new lad serving too who was really good too. Rooms are totally ok and have character with pretty much all you need in them....don't expect a modern boutique style or it being really posh rooms though. I accidentally left two expensive Mont Blanc pens there and they were honest enough to message me.

Sunday check in was very chaotic and it took some time to be shown my room - not obvious at all .

Stairs are a little steep and carpet worn . Great menu at good price but staff shortages ( as there are everywhere in hospitality) meant service was a little disorganised and sometimes a long wait .

Quirky ,full of history and tradition.Whilst the building is old the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean ….plenty of tea/coffee etc and bottled Malvern water .Outside areas spotless with plenty of seating and garden areas -and fantastic floral decorations..hanging baskets and window ledges .Owner more than accommodating as we were a bridal party had make up and hair people arriving very early the next day .Nothing was too much trouble .

Rooms were very dated and require a good freshen up as my room felt and smelt very stale. Inconsiderate guests allowing their dogs to roam around the breakfast room as I’m trying to eat isn’t healthy.

Magnificent food: breakfast was huge and varied; the options for lunch and dinner similarly excellent. Extremely pleasant beer garden by the river. Superb beer brewed on site.
