The room could do with update complete, bathroom needs painting again as wallpaper showing through, taps replacing along with towel and toilet roll holders. Under the bunk beds need cleaning.

Location, basic needs met, would stay here again as priced for our budget.

When we arrived it didn’t smell great and we found a half smoked cig on the sink in bathroom. Cold tap didn’t work.

    Bed was comfortable, slept well.

There were repairs that needed doing but you can see that they have this ongoing and let’s be honest nobody in this climate has the option of closing whilst renovating.

A little tlc required but the lads have not long taken over and are in the process of making the repairs and changes they need. However the beds were spotless and comfy and the value for money was brilliant. Would we stay again? Absolutely cannot wait to book for later in the year. Thanks for a great stay and your hospitality of both husbands and staff was phenomenal.

Clean, comfy beds, safe locks, equipted room with towel and toilet rolls... Also BIG respect to the lady owner. There was a serious case of domestic v*olence occurring in one of the rooms (not managements fault) and she handled it like a boss. It was quite a traumatic night... The owner's true colours are beautiful.

TV position. But it is a family room so is located in a good place for any children. Bunk bed height. Light fitting broken. Still worked but one of the glass arms out of its location.

Room bigger than expected. Allocated a family room. Excellent location. 2 minutes from Coral Island. Fridge and safe in room. Fridge will be a great bonus when we get some sun. Slept well. Excellant value for money.

Property is old fashioned but I guess that’s reflected in the price. Shower cubicle door needs fixing, was hanging off the hinge, you couldn’t shut it which left water on the floor.

Bed was really comfortable, got a really good deal for my February stay. Once I had checked in and got the keys I could come & go as I pleased & wasn’t bothered at all. Great to have a kettle & fridge.

Room needed some fixing, some were small but very necessary, such as; the fan extractor which was broken. Due to not be working, black mould has been growing in bathroom and next to the bed wall. Windows had to be kept open to allow steam to scape. This is a shame because has quick fixing. Towels had softener so did not absorb/dry much. Also they need to renew them (tatty although seemed clean). Shower door was broken which is dangerous and water scapes. The paper toilet roll holder is broken. The sink had a crack (not major). The cup brushes holder were missing. We found a chocolate wrap in the corner next to the bed and side table –no biggie, I found more disturbing to find a yellow nail in the draw (and hairs). I can tell they made an effort not long ago redecorating the hotel and despite these things we felt comfortable but it is a shame because a lot of them have quick fixing and are easy to amend. Cleanliness was good but there is room for improvement (that nail in the draw!!). They need to buy new towels. Old/tatty towels do not leave good impression even if they are clean; they do great cleaning racks, though.

We felt very comfortable despite the room was not as its best. Room need certain small amends. Staff was friendly and diligent. Food: Breakfast and Tea/dinner were really enjoyable. Food was good in general and was a good spread. Only missing some yogurt option for breakfast or at tea as dessert. Fridge in the room. Great for keeping water cold and some medication (thing that not many hotels consider). Very important for me. Pleasant lightening in restaurants and bar (not aggressive white LED lights). Close to Sea Life Centre and city centre.

The bathroom decor was in need of updating but that would be not picking and didn't effect the use for what we needed it for..

The food was a lot better than we were expecting considering the price. It was very laid back and what you would expect for a stay in Blackpool.

We were in the older part that has not been updated yet. The shower didn't work properly and the beds were very uncomfortable. Still enjoyed the stay as everything else was great.

The meals were great and the welcome from the hosts and staff were wonderful. The hotel is in the process of being updated but we where in the older part but still had a lovely time.
