Your systems seem administratively overbearing to me as a customer. You must have sent me more than a dozen emails since I confirmed my booking, many of them repetitive. You required prior online check-in, which when it came to it asked me to provide little more than I'd already provided to booking.com. I was surprised when having discovered you and found a price through booking.com that when then calling you direct, I was quoted a higher price, whereas hotel proprietors generally prefer a direct approach and offer something of a discount in acknowledgement that they're avoiding booking agency fees. In your case your receptionist was unable to even match the booking.com price, let alone better it.

Furnishing in bedroom a little tired with scuffed furniture. There was a cracked floor tile in the bathroom and the bottom of the bathroom door was discoloured, presumably by splashes of cleaning materials. We couldn't find information on wifi and what password to use.

We were made very welcome with staff polite and professional but friendly. The accommodation was quiet. The bedlinen was nice and clean. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice fluffy towels in bathroom.

While the 'pub' area is really nice it can get busy so a separate seating/sitting area for hotel guests would be good.

The restaurant was good both with a really good standard menu and the special Philippino street food was excellent. Its location and views are very good. The four poster bed room was really nice.

The shower was faulty did report it, also very disappointed we couldn't use the spa, said only enough room for 1 person so didn't use, even if we paid to have a treatment they said we couldn't use the spa so wouldn't book it as a spa hotel again.

Enjoyed the food, very good, staff in bar, dining room very pleasant.

The price for one night with breakfast £160 thought this was over priced. We were at a wedding and could not check in till 3pm on the Saturday the wedding was 1pm. We felt this was wrong, the staff never even offered any option apart from a toilet Not good

Rooms 304, alon with a few others, seemed to be in an older part of the building, and was right on the main road. If you need to open a window during the night, the vehicles passing were loud enough to wake me. The bed was very springy

Lunch pre spa would have not suited us, so nice to be able to eat later in the evening.

The staff were all lovely & the chef prepared us a delicious 2 course eve meal as opposed to the lunch option.

The service in the restaurant was curt and unfriendly - it put a dampener on our meal out and stay.

Very nice comfortable stay with good food and facilities. Reception welcoming. Pleasant, quiet room and comfy bed. The quiet zone notices in the corridor were a very good idea.

Nothing really, I had a few issues with the loyalty app.

I was able to have bottled water in the room which was really comfortable with a lovely bed and good lighting. Everything was clean and worked well. I was able to relax and felt very rested. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed the restaurant food. There is a great car park and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. Im always happy to stay there.
