The bathroom looked a little tired, but was clean and tidy. It would be nice if there was bigger discounts on the Spa for staying guests.

Fantastic location with a rear garden looking over towards The Roaches. The food was really good, very tasty. It wasn’t over priced for a remote hotel.

Noisy road outside when window open. Bed was a bit uncomfortable (mattress too soft). Breakfast on sunday was not great quality, when there were a lot of people staying. Buffet style. Monday was much better- breakfast made to order. Dinner was quite expensive for what it was

Busy inn so felt pressure to order and eat dinner rather than relax and enjoy the vibe. Basic bedroom facilities.

The food was okay, wouldn’t say it was anything out the ordinary, didn’t like all the extra add ons that we didn’t know until we checked out; for example we booked the evening spa (beach hut) which included a 2 course meal, to then only find there’s an extra £15 on top if you’re having a steak which wasn’t on the menu we had at the table, so then had to pay an additional £33 on top of what I already payed, if the food was great and blew my mind then I wouldn’t mind paying it.

View and the location was amazing. spa was lovely and room was great and they helped decorate it for my partners birthday.

Would be great if the spa was open more hours and had things like a 1 hour access cost for those who just wanted to pop in. Nice to have decaf tea, none available. No shampoo in the rooms only conditioner. The food prices were quite high eg £6/7 for a slice of cake.

The breakfast was lovely. Not great for vegans but they helped out and made some extra and the staff were very attentive and helpful. I was breastfeeding and they helped keep my milk cool for me in the fridge. The staff were really lovely, kind and helpful. A quick drive into Leek.

shower didn’t work very well and water trickled very slowly bar closed at 10pm on the night we stayed as it was ‘quiet’. they were still cleaning up and had only just called last orders but wouldn’t serve us breakfast was very poor, selection and quality spa was charged at high rate about £125 bed only. breakfast then charged on top. the venue does not warrant this room rate

Great location accomadation good apart from bed. It wasn't comfy and pillows were hard. We didn't sleep for the 2nights before hand. I Did ask if anything could be done, and I'd like to say a big thank you to the lady at reception. She delivered what she promised. Other 1 night stay was so much better. Breakfast was good. Good.

The WiFi is not available in some of the rooms and poor in the downstairs area. Not ideal for business travellers.

Quiet and relaxing after a long business day, great food and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are away from the noise of the bar and restaurant and nicely decorated and comfortable.

Spa package was a little on the pricey side but the overall experience was great.

On arrival we were greeted by the ladies at reception and they were very helpful. The room was a good size and well cleaned. The evening meal was very tasty and the breakfast even better. My wife had a mud spa treatment and felt it was lovely and therapeutic. Well done

Our room was hot and without the fan provided would have been most uncomfortable,. Also a little cramped near the desk area. The coffee at breakfast was disappointing as it was weak and rather tasteless. A personal preference is for plain yoghurt rather than fruit flavoured,

Hotel very convenient and the lift to the bedroom floor very helpful as my husband is somewhat disabled. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast and the bar area was pleasant. We did not have dinner, but the menu choice looked good. A lovely garden area with pretty views.
