We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI’m not an alcohol drinker and love Guinness Zero which I don’t often see in fridges - after a 30km hike, I was delighted to see it in the bar’s fridge to then be told that I couldn’t buy it because there wasn’t a button on the till. Ridiculous! I was so frustrated with the attitude and stance which was completely opposed to the brilliant reception and restaurant staff.

United KingdomYour systems seem administratively overbearing to me as a customer. You must have sent me more than a dozen emails since I confirmed my booking, many of them repetitive. You required prior online check-in, which when it came to it asked me to provide little more than I'd already provided to booking.com. I was surprised when having discovered you and found a price through booking.com that when then calling you direct, I was quoted a higher price, whereas hotel proprietors generally prefer a direct approach and offer something of a discount in acknowledgement that they're avoiding booking agency fees. In your case your receptionist was unable to even match the booking.com price, let alone better it.

United KingdomFurnishing in bedroom a little tired with scuffed furniture. There was a cracked floor tile in the bathroom and the bottom of the bathroom door was discoloured, presumably by splashes of cleaning materials. We couldn't find information on wifi and what password to use.
We were made very welcome with staff polite and professional but friendly. The accommodation was quiet. The bedlinen was nice and clean. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice fluffy towels in bathroom.

The restaurant was good both with a really good standard menu and the special Philippino street food was excellent. Its location and views are very good. The four poster bed room was really nice.

United KingdomThe shower was faulty did report it, also very disappointed we couldn't use the spa, said only enough room for 1 person so didn't use, even if we paid to have a treatment they said we couldn't use the spa so wouldn't book it as a spa hotel again.

Very nice comfortable stay with good food and facilities. Reception welcoming. Pleasant, quiet room and comfy bed. The quiet zone notices in the corridor were a very good idea.
