There was only three milk sachets and it got a little cold in the room in the evening because the heating wasn't on.

Friendly helpful staff, lovely location and a amazing breakfast.

Bed wasn’t great and our room quite cramped as up in the eaves and were both tall so struggled a bit with head height. Pub next door a bit noisy at closing time but was Christmas so to be expected!

Great location near town centre and river. Good breakfast which wasn’t included but 50% discount given as staying there. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly staff Good location Nicely decorated room Comfortable bed and pillows

We had an excellent stay at The Town Arms a few weekends ago. Jim one of the owners was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the larger family room and it was perfect for the 3 of us. Such a quirky yet cosy room and it was well equipped with everything we needed. We felt very at home. We had dinner their own night and really enjoyed the burgers. It was quite noisy with the bar being below but we had ear plugs anyway so this wasn’t an issue for us. Definitely recommend.

The toilet facilities in the bar area need some attention as were quite run down.

In a great location, right near the river and a very short few minutes walk into the town centre. Bedroom was comfortable but some cobwebs were still visible. Decor throughout needs some attention, but I think the property has maybe not long been taken over and is a work in progress. The young guy who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not eat here in the evening but it seemed quite popular. Breakfast was tasty and very good value.

The place was fun, great food, staff, and room. The bed was very sagging and we kept rolling to the center of the bed. Surprisingly it was not that uncomfortable. We would stay there again.

There was some noise from the beer garden, but it wasn't late into the night. Room was a bit pricey for a single traveller. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

Good location in the town centre. Good breakfast for six pounds. Room was fine and nicely decorated.

Exceptionally central location, solicitous staff and relaxed atmosphere - not to mention a very competitive price. Breakfast isn’t included but they will serve it half-price and before their kitchen is open for the public if you tell them the night before. The size and quality meant that was good value for money too

Very friendly helpful staff. Room was very nice, with plenty of room. We were 3 people in a quad room. Bathroom was clean with large shower. It was a hot evening and a very effective quiet fan was in the room to use when needed. Parking wasn't an issue as there was a car park very close.

As a solo in a double room, I was charged the full price of a double. No complaints, but it made it an expensive stay. I wasn't impressed with the bed. I rolled into the middle and was pleased that I was sleeping alone.

It's not too far from the Ridgeway Trail, which I was walking. Nice decor in the room. The whole place is contemporary, but maintains a warm charm. The menu consists solely of burgers. I had a vegetarian version of pulled pork. It was pretty good. My veggie breakfast was great. All breakfast options are half price for residents. My room backed on to the beer garden. There wasn't much noise, but it was midweek. The staff were polite and friendly.

Ah, young man who booked us in said he'd organise breakfast for 8am as needed booking, clearly he forgot as no one there but cleaner next morning, not an issue for us, it's just food so went to local coffee shop nearby

Walking the Ridgeway Wallingford a good location for us, not too far extra to walk and a much needed rest point, Room over a pub I expected noise, nothing and very comfortable, basic but great value for money, the speciality burger looked great for meat eaters however Wallingford has a really good restaurant 10 min walk away Five Little Pigs, doo book first
