Surrounded in peace, the location is ten out of ten, the owners have given thought to the layout extremely well and set up a most perfect stay for their guests. Brilliant non intrusive breakfast delivered to your kitchen with quality food including wonderful hot bacon rolls if preferred to croissants and jam. One of the most perfectly relaxing and well equipped properties we've ever stayed in. Comfy beds, spacious living area it felt like you were in your own house, it was a pure delight for us. Only wish we had booked longer than our two nights

Absolutely beautiful and unique place to stay near Hereford! Extremely good value for money. Great facilities, excellent continental breakfast, very nice hosts. We would loved to stay longer and will definitely stay again. Bodenham circular walk just at the doorstep, so go for it, it's a beautiful trail. Highly recommended place to stay! Plenty of castles and gardens nearby, must visit!

Just the fact that we couldn't wash our dirty dishes but Andy was happy to take them away and do it for us!

A beautiful 15 century house with a fascinating history , both past and more recently. We absolutely loved everything about the house. The hosts are kind and helpful and the location is perfect

No Door Mat to wipe feet on. Possibly due to not enough clearance, but you do get carpet dirty because of it until you can get shoes off. Appliances in 3 different places, so if needed milk, it is in a different bedroom to the kettle, so it is not practical.

Lovely old building, great hosts, comfy beds all in all a wonderful place to stay.

Could of done with more utensils, ie spatula difficult with eggs without!The mini oven you could only have oven or stove top on at one time so tricky cooking.The shower try plug was blocked with hair but easily to overlook

If I was to really nit pick and it's minor and knowing how accomadating they are they probally would do if you asked it would be nice to have some plain black cofee sachets and breakfast would be amazing with toast even if it meant a croissant or so less. However for the value what they do provide is above and beyond.

Wonderful stay, the hosts are great and very friendly. The location is rural but beautiful and so tranquil. The beds are comfortable as where the pillows. The continental breakfast was very good. The value is outstanding and the building itself has a great history.

Only staying for one night!

To stay in a property that was built in 1510 was an amazing experience. The original features were maintained but modern life was also catered for with smart TVs and excellent shower. The 4 poster bed was very comfortable too.

We didnt find anything to dislike.

The building was stunning, the rooms were sympathetically furnished. We felt we were a part of history. The surrounding area was excellent. The local pub looked after our food and drink requirements.

The four poster bed is delightful and comfortable, but access for the one who's next to the wall is a little awkward! Fine for younger couples, but not so great for the elderly.

Gorgeous period property full of quirky charm and character. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Very friendly and accommodating hosts Vicky and Andy who did all they could to help make our stay a great one - including getting in 'free from' breakfast. Tilly the lab and the gorgeous black and white kitten both wanted to make friends with us and it added to the charm and homely feel.
