Great location, a 15 min scenic walk into town. Lovely, quiet, cosy room on the top floor of the main building. Nice, powerful shower in bath. Free parking with a decent size car park at the back.

Felt the location was not ideal if you did not transport as you then relied on taxi or walking

The location was ok but would be difficult if you were not mobile. The staff were lovely - helpful and friendly

Room size and far too hot despite heating being switched off and unable to open the window.. TV was wonky on swivel fixture. Wardrobes difficult to access due to limited space. No safety rail in shower nor any shelf for storage of accessories.

Large Double bed. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff

Our room was at the ground floor and right next to some outside space (the pavement between the entrance and the car park and benches which you’re allowed to bring a drink from the pub of the hotel) It was quiet when we stayed luckily, but I expect there might be some noisy in the night in the summer time. Also, I believe the restaurant doesn’t have a menu on their website. It’s not really a downside but it was more convenient if they do.

We booked The Victoria Hotel for a small weekend treat. The location was a bit outside of the centre of the town, therefore, the access to nature was good instead, which we aimed for. We stretched our adventure to the seaside, Whitstable, and it was really convenient to get to from the bus stop nearby the hotel. In terms of the room we stayed, we were 2 of us and booked a twin room. Our room actually had 1 king bed and 1 extra small bed but that was okay as it was informed before booking. The beds were comfortable btw.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast and happy to adapt to my requirements. We chose to eat in the hotel every night after a long day. Excellent food and a daily calvary. Nice setting, comfy bed.
