Checking in could have been more efficient and check out more so, when it was thought that i hadn't paid which i had on arrival and I was able to confirm that by the transaction being confirmed on my iPhone. Otherwise, no huge problem

No parking on site however we were able to park in a road close by as advertised by the pub. The room was a bit tired with flaky paint on the wall and the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken. Just needs a bit of TLC.

It’s in a nice location about a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The pub seemed very nice although we didn’t get a chance to eat or have a drink there.

Had to hang around in the bar with some drunken idiots while waiting to check in - one of them kept trying to touch my dog even though I asked him not to. Kind of took the shine off the stay - wish the staff member had made that situation faster to get me and my dog out of it and up to our room. But they were doing us a favour by letting us check in late, so I can't really complain.

As mentioned the size of the room for two people it was far too small and this not a classic double this is the only negative!

The location was perfect pub is great and the room was good but incredibly small! I honestly feel I overpaid for the size of the room such as shame as everything else was spot on! Would come again but not to stay in room no 3 as I felt this is more for a single occupant

Parking could have been difficult. The room was very hot even with the window open. In our room the bed was near the door so the corridor light was visible underneath it and the safety light over the door meant that the room was light all night. A sleep mask would have been helpful. The washbasin was small and low and impossible to use without getting water everywhere.

Good location with friendly staff. Excellent cocktails The pub is very dog friendly. There was a lot of riverside dog walking close by. Breakfast was good.

Nice comfortable room - small but fine for one night. It was nice to go into the pub section for an evening drink.

Would have preferred a room at the back of the hotel, away from the main road. The breakfast was excellent, but would have preferred the price to have been included in the room rate.

The staff were especially charming and helpful - even carrying my bags to the car, and then refusing a tip. The hotel was extremely dog friendly.

Room was smaller than we expected for the price. No breakfast included Problems with the shower and tap. Wash hand basin was tiny and hard to use with shelf overhanging it.

The room was a bit cramped around the bed with not much room to lay down and open multiple suitcases.

The bathroom seemed new and well done - the shower specifically was great with space and high water pressure.

The bed was very uncomfy, the mattress is so used, the springs don't hold up anymore, recommend a change. The comfortableness of the bed makes a huge difference. The room can be noisy during the day because of the thin walls and the business of that road.

Kind, helpful staff, nice little pub in the city centre, close to shops and transport.

Double glazing did not prevent rather a lot of noise from outside bar area creating into my room , it is pub however so one should have expected this . Probably something that can be addressed .
