Very noisy outside and inside. Sounded like someone was kicking a door in under us and the drunk people outside were very loud. Very creaky bed and floor

Room very cold. Not much heat from the heater. Cold draft from the window One curtain on the curtain pole which was hanging off the curtain pole and did not cover the window.

When I arrived the window was wide open and room was freezing, bedside cabinet was filthy and when I went to use the shared toilet that was dirty also, this hotel has really gone down hill in last 6 months

Should state that rooms overlook a Main Street and noise from pup across road would be audible…music wasn’t too bad so didn’t mind it too much

There is no lift. There was nothing savoury with the continental breakfast. Cheese or marmite would be a good addition.

The guest house is on a street 2 minutes walk from the railway station. The small single room had an enormous TV which was a welcome surprise. Checking in and out was easy. The continental breakfast was plentiful.

Member of staff on reception not welcoming. No member of staff available to bring my case up a long and steep stairs. Member of staff on duty had had a recent operation but still took the case up for me with protest after me saying that I would do it. I told him that I had a bad back and am 71 years old! Not his fault! Proprietor should have had someone on duty to deal with suitcases for people with disabilities. This property is not suitable for disabled people for this reason. The bed needed replaced or at least the mattress. The bedroom decor was very tired. No bedside light and no way of putting ceiling light off without getting out of bed and getting back to bed in the dark. Curtain not fixed on properly.

Bed could have been more comfortable with a mattress topper. Curtains falling from their rails. Cupboard needed a handle.

Our room had a broken window (wouldn’t close) and torn curtain.

Was very confused as to why there were fruit flies in my room. Realised halfway through the night that there was a bit of pizza crust between the bed and its bed side table. Easily visibly to someone who would have been doing their housekeeping duties properly. Also had a knock on the door at 9am and confused, told the housekeeper that check out is not until 10. The housekeeper also confused showed me the key indicating that the person in my allocated room had checked out, and I had to tell him that he had the wrong room, 21 not 22.
