Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only thing I thought that could of been made better was actually the door on the room. I think its being looked at but it seemed a little out of place. Purely an observation more than anything.
The Breakfast was fantastic, very well catered for. The rooms are clean, tidy and well appointed. The evening meal was great with lots of choice.

United KingdomI am gluten free so perhaps the Continental breakfast included in the price could have got round that with gluten free cereal, a gluten free croissant and/or gluten free bread for toast. Saying that though, Jason the "DIRECTOR" put himself out and put together poached eggs on a gluten free bap at no extra cost.

United KingdomHeating was on in one of the rooms, when it was 23 degrees outside, turned it off as soon as I walked in. Curtain rail had fallen down so just a little TLC needed there. Walls are very thin and our neighbours were quite noisy. Also if you stay at one side of the building every hour the clock chimed the hour. Not your fault I understand but feel people need to be aware of this. But tbh the beds were super comfy and it wouldn’t stop us from rebooking. Also maybe in the hot weather to have fans in each room? :)

United KingdomThe finishing touches not quite up to par for the cost of the bridal suite; no glasses for water, no shampoo, only 1 big towel (we were a couple). The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay meaning we had no clean cups or tea/milk on our 2nd morning. Breakfast was served 9-10 but stated 7-10 when booking.
The room & pub are beautifully decorated. The room had a lovely free standing bath.

United KingdomYou have to pay for everything as you go. Lack of sockets to plug in and work from laptop, both in the bar or your room. Very restrictive for professional traveler’s. No trust towards guests, perhaps they have experienced a previous problem with people not paying their bill? Limited off site eating options. Tuesday night curry house closed at the bottom of the hill.At the top of the hill, curry house is cash only.

United KingdomWe stayed 2 nights in total. Both nights we had awful nights sleep, the walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation (and anything else). The morning at around 9:30-10am I was awoken to someone trying to get into my room (baring in mind we had booked the following day so had no check out that day). My partner had to leave early in the morning therefor I was alone in the room when this happen and it frightened me as a women alone in a hotel room. The following night was the same, no sleep due to noise around us, we unfortunately were placed in the room next to the stairs up from the bar area so we could hear every person coming up to their rooms throughout the night and early hours.
