No shower which I knew about before visit but bath was t enough

We were absolutely gutted to arrive on Tuesday and find out the pub wasn't open at all that day. We were only staying one night and had planned to eat and drink at the pub. Very disappointed to not have been told about this and given the option to change days.

The location was brilliant, close to local pubs and a nice walk into both Portsmouth and Southsea. The room was lovely and would definitely recommend staying here. We will stay again but definitely be checking if the pub is open next time rather than believing all the emails.

Easy check-in process, easy parking permit process, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Lovely little place to stay with all the staff being friendly. Were happy to accommodate my medium-sized dog at no extra charge. Great location.

The room was a little tired around the edges.

Clean room, comfortable mattress and bedding. Tea/coffee tray was very welcome. Great location, surprisingly quiet above the pub! Good value for money.

No parking permits available for the street parking but at least a carpark next to property at £13 a day

Nothing really. I was very happy. The sash window did rattle a bit as it was exceptionally windy that night but nothing a small piece of well placed card didn't solve immediately.

Great communication and could not d enough to help a female in need of urgent accommodation when her accommodation that was pre booked fell through at 3pm the same day of check in.

Just one thing, when advertised it says room has own bathroom but the toilet although private is down the corridor outside the room which isn't ideal

There was a person who stayed previously had done a tiktok video to trash the room and left food at back of bed the wellington does not deserve this trash behaviour and we explained that this was behind the bed they were on the case and tidied it ASAP 😴

The staff were all amazing kind and helpful even making sure that our food was ordered and kept hot until we arrived as got stuck in M3 crash on the night of travelling nothing was too much trouble and the meals are wonderful roasts to die for huge! We will be returning soon thankyou To the Wellington! Staff and had a lovely homely stay with you 😘 Vanessa & Lesley xx

Shower ran cold after a minute or so. Toilet was separate from room along corridor.

Amazing roast dinner. Great location and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Also free parking permit. Very attentive and helpful staff.

The room we stayed in had no toilet in the room we were told the toilet down the corridor was solely for our room and we had the only key. This was un true as the key did not work and the people in the next room were using it even though they had a toilet in their room

Very open plan. No door to toilet, so zero privacy. Tiny television, bad lighting, and the biggest issue…. No shower!!!! Also the pub doesn’t open mid week in winter months which was never stated

Party downstairs went on until very late then loud clearing up. Curtains would be useful rather than a screen. Had a private toilet but not in the room. Very soft mattress.

Location is great as are the lovely bar staff. Nice toiletries and coffee facilities
