Rooms at the Saint was so cosy. The heated floor in the bathroom was heavenly and the size of the bathtub was perfect for a soak. The staff were friendly and helpful as well and the location was close to everything we needed.

The location was excellent, just inside the city wall, about 5-10 minutes away from the bus station. Many of the university buildings were only a few minutes’ stroll away, as well as many restaurants and cafes (well, St. Andrew’s is not that big after all). We walked to the pier and the beach - also about 10 minutes away. The room was comfortable and while directly on top of the bar (we were in Duck 1), the noise from below was barely audible (we stayed over Tuesday and Wednesday evening). Ducks 3 and 4 are on the higher floor, perhaps better suited hen the bar is louder. Nice bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and new fixtures. The breakfast was good, with a decent amount of choice on the menu.

Despite having a room thermostat, it sometimes felt too warm, but fortunately, the windows could be opened to help.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, and the separate en suite bathroom was exceptional. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful, without being obtrusive. The bar and restaurant were both popular and had a great atmosphere, very handy for when the cold and rain made going out an unattractive proposition 😉 The location was second to none, with the heart of the old town on your doorstep and all the sights a short walk away. Tucked away next to the old West Port meant that even with its central location, street noise was never a problem.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Breakfast was delicious with good quality ingredients. Will definitely return.

We had an issue with the shower: we started in a 2nd floor room where the shower temperature tap wouldn’t move and it was scalding hot. We were moved to a first floor room where the shower took ages to drain and you had to turn it off every 2 minutes to avoid flooding the bathroom. Otherwise the bathroom and bedroom were spacious and well equipped.

Lovely rooms, nice decor and excellent breakfast, especially the sriracha hollandaise. The bed was large and comfortable. Staff were really nice and helped us as best they could (nobody seemed entirely sure how the underfloor heating worked) Handy location for shops and pubs.

Bathroom needs a bit of repair, but it is just cosmetic . It is very clean and warm , which for St Andrews in February is no mean feat.

Excellent staff. Very good breakfast. Room needs a little tlc. Clean but in need of a bit of paint and bathroom needs repaired in places . It would have been nice to have had some pods for the coffee machine. Maybe this was just an oversight. However , I would return . Especially for the excellent service.

Was a bit nervous when we were taken up to our room. The stairwell carpet was filthy. The room itself was spotless. Great bed and the addition of GHD products was a nice touch. Pillows were hard, no option to change within the room.

I was concerned with regard to being the only people in the building during the night. No staff were on the premises. Accommodation is set above a bar and restaurant. This was the only minus for me. Stairwell leading up to the rooms is in need of a revamp. Stair carpet worn and in need of fresh paint.
