We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaWe found the waiter to be extremely efficient and totally on the ball. The 2 waitresses needed more focus or training. At dinner 3 times I ordered a dish to be told by a waitress that it wasn’t available. The same happened with my husband 3 times on different dishes again. i accept dishes run out, but please advise the customer before they start ordering. Sadly the same thing happened at breakfast time.
As such we enjoyed our stay. A great location, room was a good size. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening.

United KingdomBathroom could do with a deep clean, especially grouting around the showers which are yellow/brown in colour and generally off putting. The breakfast service really let our stay down. The food choices were limited. When the full English breakfast arrived (50 minutes after ordering) it was missing most food items as they had ran out of them or couldn’t “find” them in the kitchen !? We had to ask for fresh coffee three times before being told the coffee machine wasn’t working. Better communication would have been much appreciated, we were short of time as we had an event to attend so if we knew that we would have been waiting 50-60 minutes for some sausages and beans then we would have happily gone elsewhere.

United KingdomRoom needed a better layout with a comfy chair and second bedside cabinet and lamp. Breakfast - didn't have all the cooked breakfast ingredients and forgot bacon on Eggs Benedict - on returning with bacon the whole dish was swimming in hollandaise sauce. Check out for us and another couple was disorganised because apparently staff should have taken payment on arrival and staff next day not familiar with the computer system needed to phone and get someone to come and help. All probably down to a new inexperienced team.
Good location with free parking at small public car park right next to hotel - staff registered car on arrival for parking. Modern contemporary shower room.
