Lots of cars outside so parking could be a struggle at peak times

Stayed here to go on the polar express at Froghall. Great location approx 10 min drive. Was able to check in early. Pub noise from downstairs was not loud at all. Room very spacious very clean and homily nice amd warm. Lovely little village, everyone very welcoming. Breakfast was delish couldn't do enough for you even gave my daughter a selection box.

Both rooms were bigger than we expected, and the 3 person room had a proper single bed as well as the double bed instead of just a pop up bed.

It was close to alton towers, staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, beds were comfy.

The bed was not the comfiest and sadly only a double but we did get some sleep not that we didn't get Total rubbish one

We stayed here as a family whilst visiting Alton Towers. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! Would highly recommend a visit and we would definitely stay again.

No wifi in the bedroom, only in pub downstairs. Then "safety" green light on the ceiling. I believe this was like a safety light in case of fire etc., and although safety first, this was so bright overnight it disturbed the sleep🫣 bedroom is above pub, and you can hear customers downstairs however this didn't bother us, bit of a background white noise😁 carpet behind bed headrest needs a good hoover.

Loved the location, so close to Alton waterpark. Lovely staff, lovely lady at the breakfast that served us. Good breakfast, choice of cereal and yougurt for kids was winner. Nice spacious room for 4 of us.

There was noise from the pub until about half past eleven but was then really quiet. Not a problem for adults but could be an issue for young children.

Great location for theme park. Lovely bathroom and big room. Great breakfast.

Benny and the staff where the nicest to me and my son. The Thai food was so amazing and authentic. There is 3 rooms above the pub.

If you are not driving it can be difficult to get around especially on a Sunday as there are no buses and taxi are not that cheap.

The friendly staff and the location is convenient for Alton towers.

We stayed at The White Hart for 3 nights. Upon checkin at the bar we were greeted by a friendly blonde lady, sorry I did not get her name. We were explained all the usual stuff we needed to know and given our keys to room 1. Lovely wee room with on suite. The bed was so comfy with plenty of pillows. The shower had a huge shower head and was pleasant, the mirror was a on screen to light up the mirror, which was entertaining. Went to the bar in the evening for a few drinks and we met Kerry who was so welcoming and chatty and made us feel right at home. OK so breakfast time, well the breakfast was amazing, so hot and fresh and any supplements was not an issue. A big shootout to Mon and Benny who served us each morning with big smiles and genuinely interested in what we were up too and how our previous day went. Lovely wee beer garden where we met Mollie the cat who loved her strokes and then we met the boss called Alfie who again was a cat but in charge of everything. Had an amazing stay and we will be back again, so thank you to all the community for making our stay amazing.
