I find hotels that are retro fitted with fire doors are airless and the White Hart was like this, with no air circulation. It was very warm.

Room needed a bit of TLC but didn't spoil our stay. Would suggest a bath mat as bath very slippery when having a shower.

The loud music . We were told about this when we arrived but would have been nice to have known about live music playing until 12:30 before we booked , as we had to get up early and being a light sleeper I did not get much sleep.

Staff very nice ,and location was good .the room had everything we needed

It was a lovely, older building, however, this brings with it creaky floor boards and doors that don't soft-shut. Got woken up any time anyone else came back or left.

Room size was fine, bathroom was nice and big, shower was great. Beds were comfortable, suitable amenities, lots of free parking and didn't use the bar/pub but it looked great.

I have been to the White Hart several times over the years for the racing, it's a great value for money property in a prime location in the high street in Newmarket. We drove up for the first time on this occasion and it was so convenient with the car parking facilities. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, the food was great and cheap drinks. Highly recommen this property as somewhere to stay

It’s convenience - avoid weekends for the noise.

We were not made aware of the disco until after midnight on Saturdays, and the birthday party with live band in the event room. Our room opened onto the High Street - the noise was horrendous, cars hooting, bikes roaring up the street, kebab vans, nightclub turning out - still going on at 03.45. Overall, the pub is like a typical famous high street chain.

Convenient town centre location, room was OK 3* standard. The bed and linens were nice and comfy, the shower and bathroom standard, good towels and soap and hand cream. Coffee/tea and biscuits provided. The ‘sports type’ bar seemed to have a good varied pub menu, I didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the quality of the food.

Lovely stay in friendly central hotel

Rooms are a bit small and very close together so you can hear every coming and going from the next door rooms. There is no lift so carrying luggage upstairs can be a bit of a trek. However, this is an old charming building so these constraints are understandable.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Ample free parking on site. Lovely pub with food is also on site, very convenient as well as all the other high street shops and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away.

Excellent breakfast, with the young lady, who may have been the manager, so very cheerful and helpful. She really was an asset. Appreciated the honesty about the late night disco, so wasn’t a surprise. Excellent location

Shower very small. Toilet very small size. Paintwork in the room has lots of chipped areas.

Breakfast finished at 9 although we were told 10. Staff did make a cooked one for us though. Good bar area and atmosphere. Very fluffy towels. Bed comfy.
