Everything was fine no complaints!

Beautiful house, and stunning bedroom and bathroom. Loved the little touches, like a jar of brownies left in our room with the tea tray. Breakfast was amazing, and everyone was so friendly with some great suggestions of places to go.

We stayed at the Whitehouse in Oct 2023 for a break away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful overall and our room and (massive) en suite were gorgeous. The owners have paid excellent attention to detail with the interior design and fittings, resulting in a modern, sleek and stylish feel that merges beautifully with the romantic Georgian architecture. We would definitely return again

Slightly scary approach to the car park down a narrow lane (typical of the lanes in Devon). The hotel is about 5 miles outside Kingsbridge which we had not realised.

Beautiful hotel with really friendly owner and his wife. The rooms are very individual and give a feeling of luxury. Excellent breakfast

The house and grounds are stunning! Chillington is central to the surrounding towns, Salcombe, Dartmouth & Kingsbridge. The room was perfect in terms of comfort. Good quality bed and bedding made for a very comfortable 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious. Sometimes as a solo traveller, it can be quite daunting, but Chris & Katie made my dog and I feel so welcome and at ease.

Needed a small fridge in the room for milk. Also the kettle was no where near a plug socket.

Really nice property with ample space. Everything was very well presented. Room was really comfortable. Ample parking. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great.

Had originally booked it as was walking distance to two restaurants, both of which had closed down for various reasons, but that wasn't their fault but it was part of the allure of the village, but no fault at all work the Whitehouse, absolutely beautiful

Loved the style of the house and the gorgeous breakfast and our roll top bath, Very well situated for days out to Salcombe, Dartmouth ams Brixham.

We stayed about 5 years ago and though the place was amazing. We came back to stay last weekend and it's even better. Everything was wonderful from being welcomed by Chris and Katie, their flexibility, great breakfast, awesome room, the house and the surroundings. Great vibes. Thank you and we can't wait to come again.

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed, fabulous location and the most beautifully decorated country house the hosts were warm and friendly and the room was comfortable and well equipped with a super comfy enormous bed , breakfast was amazing, good choice with local produce and delicious homemade plum jam, plentiful piping hot and amazing service… sitting by the log fire in the lounge was a great extra ( which my little doggy loved) and the location and well manicured gardens were beautiful … can’t wait to stay again would recommend 100%.

We loved our room at The Whitehouse and the owners have added such great pieces to the house. The decor across the house was beautiful and showed such attention to detail. Our room was really comfortable and the ensuite was a good size and nicely decorated. On top of that the service was brilliant for both checking in and out along with breakfast! Would definitely recommend.

Nothing but good things to say about The Whitehouse. A beautiful stylish house and gardens with excellent breakfast options and the owners Chris and Katie were really friendly and helpful. Our room was stunning and comfortable and importantly for us, dog friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Whitehouse and hope to be lucky enough to stay again.
