    Nothing

The shower pressure was amazing. Better than some of the 4/5 stars hotels. It seemed to be a very busy local pub but I didn't hear any disturbances. Breakfast was more than adequate. The price was reasonable for a pub b&b.

I thought the cars that parked close to my window could be kept at least a metre away, especially as I felt that people could look into my room. Otherwise all was good. Although the property was not that stylish, it had a charm - a vintage look. At a time where all b&bs look the same, this was original.

The location was great - not in the centre of Norwich and only a 15-20 min walk from castle. It only took five minutes to drive from the station. For a pub, it was quiet and the staff were very helpful. Lorraine was welcoming and helpful. The area is full of lovely properties which create a country atmosphere, and I felt safe walking here during the day. Generous serving of breakfast with many options.

If I'm being super picky perhaps the room could be updated, but it was super comfortable and very clean.

Great location. Barman and the lady chef were really friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast were great and we really appreciated the early breakfast which was yum and set us up for the day.

We found the property a little bit run down not very well maintained especially the outside of the property. When you look at photos of the property it looks maintained. The bathroom was recently renovated but not totally finished with nowhere to put toiletries. It was nice and clean.

We liked the staff and the cooked breakfast.

Great location, very cosy room, very kind staff. The b&b is inside the pub, so very convenient for food and drinks. It was quiet when I was there but I guess it can be more crowded during the weekends.

They were not able to provide an evening meal but this is not a major problem as it is a 10 minute walk to town. I would have preferred an firmer mattress.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was able to store my bike within the hotel. Room was large and well equipped with good sized TV, kettle and even a coffee machine. Good en suite. Very good full vegetarian breakfast.

Neither of these issues bothered us, but: (i) be aware that the hotel is at the top of a steep hill; (ii) the building is comfortable but not picturesque. Other hotels in Norwich are more beautiful (at the appropriate price!).

Excellent value for money. This is a B&B part of a pub. The location is fairly good for the city centre; it is on the same side of the city as the railway station (and the cathedral, which is what we were visiting), the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. On one of the nights we stayed there, the pub had a party, but the noise did not disturb us in our room. We should definitely consider coming back again.

Noisy guests until well after midnight on one night, very loud TV next door until very late on the other - both resulted in less sleep for us than we were looking forward to.

They didn't seem to supply de-caffeinated tea bags but we always take our own so this wasn't an issue. The pub itself was a bit spartan with a number of pool tables but we only used it for our breakfasts so can't really say what the evening ambience was like.

This was a back street pub with rooms. We were pleasantly surprised that there was very little noise (if any) from the pub when we retired to our room. The room we had was comfortable and reasonably well decorated. There was the odd bit of peeling paint in the bathrrom but this wasn't a problem for us. There was a good choice for breakfast with cereals/juice/tea/coffee etc. being self service and cooked elements to order. There was a good sized car park. The pub was within easy walking distance of the cathedral area (as long as you can manage a steep hill).

NOTHING. The William IV provided me with great value for money accommodation, on site parking and a great breakfast all within walking distance of the Norwich City Centre and riverside life.

A value for money stay. Staff were welcoming, caring and attentive. The room was spacious with a large adjoining en-suite shower room. The breakfast was definitely a ‘Full Breakfast’ and the catering team took great care to ensure my dietary needs were met. There was a party being held in the Function Room on the day of my arrival. I was warned of this in advance and the music ended promptly at the time stated. Consequently, I was not troubled by this prior booking. Thank you all.

There was a function in the pub that finished around midnight. OK, for me as I was watching match of the day, but may be a consideration for young families.
