Nothing as stay was exceptional

The cottage was amazing, clean well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk. Very quiet, lovely views, cafe on site with very good food. Although we were running late I received a phone call regarding my booking and was given precise details for arrival.

Both a pro and a con, but the site is pitch black on a nighttime. Lovely if the stars are out but torches at hand for the walk down the pub on an evening

I was given a courtesy call and a text message with clear instructions and information about property location and key collection. The cottage had a home from home feeling, very beautiful location, well equipped kitchen with complimentary juice and milk. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets of needed

Property smelt like there had been dogs staying, WIFI was very poor and given i was travelling with work the lack of accessability was an issue. Also breakfast was only from 9am, should be earlier. Rats beside bins at night.

Good property, located just off a quite country road. Clean, good shower and well equipped. Toiletries and milk provided. TV, and Netflix

The location was perfect for us, aiming to visit Rutland Water and cycle around the area. We enjoyed coming back in the afternoon and using the Windmill Tea room - very nice cake. The pub within walking distance does good food and friendly atmosphere & staff.

coffee machine was there but how to use ? a simple cafetière would have been fantastic we are real coffee drinkers maybe a mattress topper for the sofa bed, but hard and the cracks not brill we found hair on the quilt under the sofa …

no lighting in the car park area was disappointing as we arrived in the dark and there were also no signs to direct you to the cottages which are to the rear of the shops and cafe.

well stocked with everything you might need. big TV with built in Netflix was a very nice touch

WiFi signal was intermittent but not a problem to us.

Beautiful outlook, great location. Option to use the windmill tea room which served delicious fresh food. ( busy at the weekend) Easy walk to local pub, booking advised.

I always find that the beds, now I'm getting older are an issue. Although not too bad, a change to a king bed and something more comfortable would be brilliant!

Self catering lodge which was adequate for our needs. It was clean and on the whole quite comfortable. The TV had Sky which was good as the weather wasn't brilliant although we did walk and found the area excellent. Young lady who was in the tea shop was very friendly and welcoming. Friendly local pubs.

Cobwebs in the lounge. Towels were hard & rough. Would have liked a TV in the bedroom.

Loved the location and peaceful surroundings! Also the country decor of the cottage throughout (minus the kitchen clock which didn't suit) Bed was comfortable! Shower was clean and powerful. Parking was great Communication with host was great Free WiFi connection

There isn't a lot to do around there, we didn't really come with a plan so a bit of information about things to do would have been appreciated.

Really lovely place to stay, we absolutely loved the setting and how beautiful it was. The house was lovely, really comfy and things provided like hairdryer were actually really great which isn't usually the case.
