The steep stairs There was a very bad unwashed mark/stain on a quilt cover and I'm waiting for a reply, we had to take the quilt cover off. Bad laundering but other bedding and towels were spotless.

The location was perfect. The downside are the steep stairs with luggage. The welcome pack is fabulous. Very cosy, spacious, well equipped. Spacious bedrooms, particularly liked the top bedroom.

It is called the Wizards Loft but wished it had been on the 1st and 2nd floor and not the 2nd and 3rd floor. Need to be quite fit for all the stairs. Everything thought out but need to take shower gel as no dispenser in either shower.

Central position in Alnwick with a Harry Potter theme. Lots of information about the area, where to eat and where to shop. Parking nearby and could park for 2 hours immediately outside. Both a bathroom and one bedroom with an ensuite. Provided a basket of goodies on arrival which was a nice touch. Grandchildren who like Harry Potter will love it.

Slight drawback was could only park for 2 hours outside the apartment in the day but we worked round it - free 24 hr car park 5 mins walk away.

Well thought out themically and very comfortable and homely. Well equipped and well located in the middle of the town. Some great pubs and restaurants within a 2 minute walk.

Fabulous location, we were in the area visiting family but also booked to visit local attractions. The apartment was really clean & spacious. Our girls loved the Harry Potter theme, it added lots of excitement to the stay & there was so much attention to detail with all the props which made it extra special. Great to be able to view Alnwick Castle from the living room window. Would definitely look to book again.

I can't think of anything we didn't like. The whole family loved the stay and the girls especially enjoyed all the Harry Potter details.

The quality of the apartment was superb. Lots of lovely thoughtful details throughout the property. The location was very central with easy access to shops, cafes and attractions.

Amazing location and a must stay place for Harry Potter fans - loved the music at the front door! Large apartment with super comfy beds and exceptionally clean. Good communication beforehand to arrange access etc. Easy parking outside flat for up to 2 hours and then free 24 hour parking within a 10 min stroll. Morrisons and High Street shops on your doorstep, with pubs and restaurants galore all around. Easy to walk to Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh Castle just about 25 mins away too. Just watch as some of the crockery isn't dishwasher compatable. And don't put a light sleeper in the blue bedroom as they have the boiler in the cupboard which fires up when someone showers, a CO2 detector which flashes green all night and the macerator in the ceiling for the bathroom above - but a deep sleeper won't be bothered by any of this though. We would definitely return.

So many stairs! And possibly could have been a little more child friendly with the option of a cot and high chairs for babies.

We had a fantastic stay at Wizards loft, my little boy was so excited with the decor and Harry Potter themed rooms. The Wands in the welcome Basket and the Harry Potter music coming on in the hallway were fabulous little touches! Great location too and a treat to see Alnwick Castle from the window!

This place is so beautifully done. It far exceeded our expectations from the listing. Every detail has been thought about and more. The theme runs throughout. The facilities are lovely, it is impeccably clean and in a wonderful location. Alnwick was lovely, and everything was within easy reach. A real gem.

The Apartment was at the top of the stairs and the light often went off before we reached the door- could the light timer stay on a wee bit longer please?

Lovely Apartment in a great location. It was very clean and looked great in all the rooms. The welcome basket was a super surprise. We all loved the themed rooms and decor. We were right there amongst all the shops, cafes and restaurants and found lots of great places to visit. We would recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

I really can’t fault anything about this apartment.

My HP mad daughter loved the theming of the apartment. It was very close to all local amenities and attractions. The hosts had left a welcome basket with bottle of wine, beer, biscuits, bread sticks tea, hot chocolate etc that was very much appreciated.

We were blessed with fantastic weather, and it would have been good to have been able to open the windows in lower level rooms, not just velux windows in upper level for more ventilation.

Wonderful duplex apartment right in the centre of Alnwick but very quiet at night. A great selection of restaurants within walking distance and a great base to explore the beautiful Northumberland towns, beaches, and castles. Very well equipped, including dishwasher tablets and washing machine pods. Everything in the apartment looked brand new. Super comfy beds and great showers. Parking disc provided allows for 2 hours parking outside of property, which is sufficient for unloading and loading car. There are plenty of free 24 hour long stay car parks within a 3-minute walk.

Rubbish bins not big enough and didn’t know where to take excess rubbish. Induction hob was unfathamable! Couldn’t boil an egg. No contact from host about either subject despite texting. There are a lot of steps to get up to the rooms. But tbf we’d stay there again.

Brilliant location. Alnwick is lovely, right opposite the market place. Rooms were really well thought out and decorated for Harry Potter theme. Clean and well presented. Welcome hamper with tea, coffee, wine, biscuits, crisps etc was a lovely touch. All the bits like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, etc were well provided.
