I had to ask for help in getting our luggage upstairs since there was no elevator. No help was offered even though staff saw that they could help. We feel this was a small issue. We would stay again.

We liked the location and that a restaurant was on site. Breakfast was very good. We also had dinner there on the first night. Dinner was also very good. The room was spacious.

Everything about this hotel and staff is fantastic, every member of staff go absolutely above and beyond to make you feel welcome. For example my daughter was finding it difficult to get a taxi from the hotel back to her house, the staff offered to take her themselves! They really are an amazing team of staff. Highly recommend this hotel and people. Best stay and experience we’ve had in years and we do travel a lot

We could not find fault with anything at The Woodside, it is a lovely hotel which we are happy to recommend.

Everything! Our room, a Deluxe King, was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. We dined in the restaurant each evening, with plenty of choice on the menu. Breakfasts were substantial, perfectly cooked and delicious and set us up for the day. This was our third visit and we have enjoyed it more each time we have stayed. Previously we had only been able to stay overnight but booked for three nights on this occasion so that we could spend more time visiting local attractions. We can recommend The Kelpies, Argaty Red Kites and Stirling Art Gallery and Museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, considered it excellent value for money and look forward to visiting again sometime.

The staff were friendly and check in was stress free. We had a lovely room, relatively small but nicely decorated, with everything we could want, including a comfortable bed and free drinks and snacks. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated and had great shower. The food was great - lots of choice in the evening and a really good breakfast too. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in in the central belt of Scotland, so hope to stay again.

The room we stayed in the door next to us was too close and the people struggled to close the door late on and we heard the door open close a few times which was very loud . obviously this doesn't take away from having an amazing time

Breakfast service was slow due to poor staff to customer ratio

We had a lovely room, decorated to a high standard. The bed was comfortable and shower good. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous. The breakfast was also of a high standard.

Staff seemed a bit under pressure, only 1 staff member at breakfast dealing with food orders and checkouts, resulting sometimes in a cold breakfast, we stayed for 6 nights and would have appreciated our room having the hoover go over it, also a table in bathroom or better unit to store toiletries.
