As we visited in August and had lovely weather it was warm in the room at night and we had to sleep with the window open. This meant we were subject to noise of the seagulls at random periods during the night and early morning. And very early one morning what sounded like a recycling collection down the back street which went on for some time. Obviously these are outside the control of the guest house and the seagulls have been a problem at all the places we have stopped previously stopped at in Whitby. Is this may be a problem for you I recommend you stop outside of town or pay extra for an air condition room somewhere.

Very well presented guesthouse in an excellent location, a minute from the shops, 5 minutes walk from west cliffe or down to the habour. The room was very nice with good facilities, the ensuite was a little cramped but typical of any guest house in this price range. We were able to street park a short walk from the venue and it was good value at £5 for two nights using a permit from the venue. The breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty as good as any we've had. We will definitely use again when we return to Whitby.

Parking- difficult to get parked outside the property, and you may have to park on a different street. This is not the fault of the owners, the parking regulations are set by the local authority. But you don’t have to pay to park, as you would if you were visiting. You are given parking cards to cover the duration of the stay. You can also easily drop off your luggage, before finding a parking spot.

Room was large and very well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Tastefully decorated in a more up to date style. Cosy breakfast room, decorated with music memorabilia. Very good breakfast, with juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and of course full English. Kerry and Jason were very welcoming and friendly.

What an amazing little guesthouse. One of the nicest places I have stayed in. Lovely owners, very comfortable room & a great location for exploring Whitby. The breakfast was also extremely good. I will definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this B& B to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay.

There was a miscommunication before we arrived but things worked out very well.

Location was perfect, most of our interests were within easy walking distance. Check in and out was easy and owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were well presented and excellent quality. Very much enjoyed our stay

Kerry & Jason were amazing hosts, especially Kerry who despie being busy at breakfast always had a chat with me. Room was clean. Free tea/coffee and extras plus water if needed. Lovely breakfast. Lovely location, 10 mins into centre.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to the centre of Whitby. Parking was a challenge but the two day permit helped. Room, though small, was comfortable and clean and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Host was great

It's only a small thing but the bathroom door did not latch and did not have a bolt.

What a little gem. Excellent location, a stones throw from the beach and town. Hosts were welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The single room is delightful, everything the solo traveler could need. Definitely recommended and will stay again when in Whitby.
