There was nothing I did not like!

We loved everything about our stay, and cannot wait to stay again in the future. The owners were so accommodating and friendly, they really made the whole experience. Food was incredible and we have even booked to go for a meal again soon.

Beautiful place. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely. Eric even took us into Tenterden when we couldn’t find a taxi. Hospitality is second to none. Thanks so much for such a fantastic stay!

It was a bit odd to shower in the bathtub and in the summer, it does get a bit warm in the attic room.

Great little inn with one of the quirkiest and nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. Super dog and vegan friendly as well, which we loved.

The room could have been a tiny bit cleaner- bit dusty in places! Also the bed was beautiful but very soft and quite short so not the most comfortable.

The breakfast room did not open until 9.30am. There were no fire-side armchairs for reading in the bar area.

Nice country pub with lots of charm and character in a very good countryside location with helpful and pleasant staff and good facilities and lots of hot water. Very secure.

Nothing to dislike. Only tiny tiny thing was the Menu was a little small, a few more choices maybe would be great, but the food we had was delicious. a beautiful Breakfast to!! the staff were really friendly and accommodating

The only gripe was the lack of cooling in the property as a whole, but we put this down more to a combination of the unpredictable English weather and the age of the property. The majority of our group managed okay with the provided fans, but did discover later that an air cooler was in the room but hadn’t be switched on.

Very quaint English pub. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was well provisioned, nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection and great service. Lovely location and well positioned for visits to local vineyards.

For the price of the food it wasn't that good. Every meal had something missing. I had the fish, mint crushed peas and chips....no mint. My partners meal they swapped the main veg ingredient got asparagus. For breakfast instead of bubble and squeak they gave me 2 hash browns. The cauliflower, Mac and cheese didn't have any cauliflower in it. At no point did any member of staff say anything about the changed ingredients. It was a bit poor considering the above average price.

The decor the quality of bedding,the views the food was fantastic, the staff couldn’t do anymore for you , the actual building was so quirky we just lived it , it was our second time , can’t fault it in anyway, outside garden and seating area was clean and looks so country !! Well done to everyone ❤️👍

There was no other way to wash in the room other then the bath which was in the middle of the room.

The room was lovely, spacious and had a great bath. Dinner and drinks were fantastic. The location is great, its quiet and had good countryside walks.

only comment would be a bigger bed, but we new that before we travelled…..important to check access to rooms if you have any mobility issues

lovely quaint property loads of nice touches and a super friendly, helpful and accommodating staff and management. Had two lovely meals and rather a lot to drink …..Great place to stay if visiting Gusbourne vineyard (and we did). Great weekend, Would use again

Everything was amazing- the bath was my favourite! The stairs were a little steep/difficult to get up and down in our bridesmaid dresses/heels, especially when drunk! However, this is expected in a quirky/character building. I can't wait to come back, it really is a lovely pub and the rooms are totally gorgeous!
