Had to find our own parking and the room was a bit pricey but to be expected for new year's eve.

The room was very clean, well decorated and roomy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location in the town centre was perfect and had a side entrance from the pub itself. Having the pub downstairs was great for a quick breakfast.

The bedside lights do not shine on the book page, for my husband to be able to read.

We liked the room size, the 2 chairs in the room, the shelf space to put things down in the bathroom and quietness of the room. We are hoping to return in the future, as we have relatives and friends in Bridgend and don't drive any more.

A maze to get to the room but thats to be expected from wetherspoons. But nothing bad really.

Room was large and clean. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate, along with biscuits provided. Heating was good in the room and noise from outside was minimal. The shower was great too.

Hotel is separate from pub, use the side door. Not all rooms are accessible. Sue on reception is really helpful.There is a lift to reception. The bed was large and I had a great sleep. Bridgend is car free between 10 am and six pm.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues. Wherever possible, I use Wetherspoons hotels. The staff are always helpful. The rooms are always clean and it is always a welcoming experience. Additionally, if you are arriving late, you can always order food up to 11 pm and the bar is always open till midnight on a Sunday.

Some drawer space would have been good as I like to put things away when I unpack. It wasn't a problem but would have been nice if a chest of drawers was provided.

Our room had a king size bed and a sofa. Coffee/tea making facilities were provided. Also a hair dryer which was located in a bag hanging on a coat hanger in the wardrobe. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and more than adequate, all for under £10! Lisa, the Manager, was lovely, very friendly and polite.

A cooked breakfast came out almost cold one morning but a replacement was the very quickly cooked which was fine .

It was a very comfortable room. The bathroom was modern and nice and clean. Although we stayed over new year it was quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise from the public bar downstairs.

Fab hotel.. clean and even better that you don't need to leave as you can have food and drinks at very cheap prices as it's a wetherspoons.

Location cannot be directly parked outside until after 6pm. However we parked at the railway station which was an easy 5 ish minutes walk away for £7 /24hrs and is reasonably secure. This was not a significant difficulty as we are mobile and had little luggage.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Family room was huge with a comfy, big enough bed for 3 adult’s, and plenty of space for the single bed too. Superb hot rainfall shower. Heating was adjustable easily within the room. Excellent cleanliness and decaf tea as well as coffee. Breakfast was inexpensive, arrived promptly and was tasty. We found it very quiet overnight as it’s not on a Main Street so no traffic noise & we had no people being antisocial outside. We had a really pleasant stay.

Glass waste being collected really early in the morning, which woke me up.
