Nothing really. The decor was a bit dated but we love quirky places like that!

Lovely room, great dinners and breakfast. We're very picky eaters but the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

It's an old building and bathroom facilities could do with an upgrade. Would have liked windows with safety locks so that we could have kept windows opened during the warm summer days.

Friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Central location. A quiet pub and restaurant just below

For me the restaurant service was a bit slow although the food ws good. I feel that the cause lies in the kitchen, not with the table service.

room: bed comfy, ample supplies of tea and coffee.Garage parking for motorbike. Friendly and helpful staff.

Limited vegetarian options for evening meal. Bar area looks in need of improvement. Back of hotel needs a tidy up. Front bedroom had some traffic noise during early evening. Shower good but no rubber mat inside bath or safety rail.

Excellent evening meal with tables well spaced out. Interesting quirky lounge facility. Separate breakfast room. Enjoyed breakfast food and with vegetarian option. Safe parking area at the back.

The en-suite was a little tired in terms decor and suite. It had a corner bath with a shower attachment to the taps, it was ok, but a ‘proper’ shower over a regular bath would be better. The antique bed was very squeaky and creaked every time you moved! A broken window sash too.

characterful and good location lovely staff

Not a major concern - but the shower had no pressure.

Absolutely delightful stay - location is amazing nestled in the valleys in a one-street town (perfect if you're a tourist looking for that countryside cliche UK thing) - about 20 mins drive / train out of the coastal towns and some absolutely spectacular scenery. Staff in the hotel for the most part very very kind, and attentive despite not many being about for the entire hotel. Bed was comfy, warm, wifi is essential in the area and functioned great, old-world outdated decor is part of the charm and preservation almost of a Hotel of yesteryear, and is clean and not overwork. Breakfast was spectacular and I think default included. Has ample parking and is great for bikes and larger vehicles alike. Ana absolutely bargain especially when considering the surrounding wonderful town in context. Go to the pub across the road too for great live music.
