Only thing was the bed was just a standard double and a little small but that's a really minor thing and not really a gripe.

Really friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful hotel and the location was perfect being right on the coast and a nice stroll down to the main harbour and town.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable (very from, it may just be a personal preference issue) and the walls were thin- we could hear our upstairs neighbours until 12am!

The staff were friendly, helpful and well trained.

Lack of parking and the t-bags were poor

We were travelling down for a family funeral and the hotel had our room ready in time for early check in to allow us to freshen up and change. Everyone was welcoming. Hotel was clean. Room was lovely and bed was comfy. Breakfast was amazing, just struggled with the cup of tea both in the room and restaurant

A miniscule problem with the plug in the bathroom sink and the adjustable mirror also in the bathroom was a bit tricky, I was in room 351, apart from that, the room was fantastic.

The restaurant, bar staff and reception staff were so helpful and I couldn't rate them high enough.

Hotel fantastic. Just a heads up, the electric charging point at the hotel had a petrol car parked in the bay the whole of our stay, presume the charging point was in working order. Couldn’t find a working electric charging point for miles (plenty of 'out of order' ones) which was very stressful.

Clean, modern room. Lovely bathroom. Great breakfast and bar.

The breakfast service was awful. No hot food, not enough staff, we were not offered the hot menu only the buffet and there was no hot food. Why were we different to other guests? Other tables were offered this. There were no plates or orange juice. I spoke to the reception who didn't even apologise. Very poor service for a plus hotel.

The walls are paper thin. My 12 year old son had to hear a full out session of a couple which is something I would rather not have heard so explicitly while walking down the hall. It was rather embarrassing. On that same note, in the evening when we were trying to relax, it sounded like the television in the next room was actually on in our room.

This hotel was very much value for money. The building is beautiful, the parking was easy, the staff were pleasant and the rooms were very clean. Much of Folkestone was walking distance although driving was necessary as well.

Shower in the superior twin it was scalding hot could not turn it cooler. Deluxe suite Tv in living area doesn’t work couldn’t tune it in and door knob on inside of bathroom door rubs doorframe without realising when you grab handle the is no space for hand I ended up with badly bruised cut knuckle.

We booked 2 rooms the deluxe suite was light and airy and comfy and staff friendly. Breakfast was nice.
