We felt the use of the pool was restricted by the times swimming lessons 14.30 to 18.30 seemed quite a long period and reduced the pool size and restricted the use to lane swimming and less relaxing for older members.

I had booked the stay for my partners birthday. Ahead of the stay, I messaged and booked some additional items to be in the room for arrival. Unfortunately, they hadn't done it. A little disappointing, but when I mentioned it at reception, they made sure it was taken off the bill so I didn't get charged.

Staff were lovely, especially the lady with dark hair, amazing nails, and a nose ring (sorry, i didn't get her name). The rooms were clean, and breakfast was excellent. Overall, it was a lovely stay

The “Spa” was a very small pool, with a sauna and steam room. It was very busy and we felt very uncomfortable in there. The changing rooms were also very small.

Breakfast was very busy and more staff were needed to clear the tables. The cups on our table were dirty; the coffee machine wasn’t working and some tables had helped themselves to so much food that certain items were unavailable for other guests.

Spa - Not really a relaxing experience. Had a massage along with my Mum and both rooms felt like they had a/c blowing out at high speed. Making it cold. Spoke to therapist who said was vert and not a/c and tried to change temp up but whilst was mainly ok during treatment it was not nice getting dressed under it and did not end it well. All staff were polite and friendly. The room wasn't serviced daily and we had to ask for basic things like toilet roll and bin emptying. Rooms got quite hot even with window open and this was not really great weather, Quite expensive prices for food and drink. Preferable to go to local pub.

breakfast - choice very good. Sometimes slow service due to lack of staff. During the week one person was on checking in, filling up items, clearing tables and helping guests. Not easy. Weekend was better with more staff But all staff in restaurant were very helpful and polite and worked very hard. Very clean areas. Car parking plentiful and easy to register. Near to local facilities and lots to do nearby. Handy that the bus comes to the hotel to go into Cambridge. Saves parking and messing around. Had a big event there and the daytime meeting was well organised and went well. Evening meal and party was excellent. Beef was perfectly cooked. and all had a good time. Would go to another event there.

Check in accepted for 2.00pm turned out to be 3.30pm for junior suite. It would have been a problem if we did not have a second room. A bit of black mould on shower sealant in room 203. Hotel surroundings quite built up and Cambourne full of characterless new built houses. Quite ugly in an attractive region! Ordinary rooms quite expensive but similar to Premier Inn!

Good honest pub style food for dinner. Very friendly staff in restaurant. Breakfast was also good. Ideal with young children.

Nice, only issue really is noise. Sound proofing not great. Could hear people in the corridors alot and also people walking in room above. Gardens look tired and always mess with glasses/mugs cigarette ends left for hours and even days.

The lighting in the room could be better. The smell of the soap/shower cream is very strong (and not pleasant at all). The coffee served at breakfast is hardly drinkable.

The room was okay, for breakfast there was a wide variety of options. We liked the swimming pool and the sauna. The gym is well equipped, spacious and not at all crowded (Mon/Tue morning). The staff was friendly. The garden (surrounding area) looked lovely but it was far too cold when we were staying to go for a stroll.

There was not enough seating around the indoor pool. I personally like a thin pillow and only have one at home. However, both the pillows were very thick.

The staff were so helpful, the whole hotel was very clean and our junior suite was amazing for the money.

Unfortunately hot tub was unavailable one evening due to chlorine levels were too high. Noticed the water wouldn't drain from the shower due hair being in from previous occupants.

Room large and very quiet. I had requested a quiet room and the hotel team had made an effort to accommodate this request. Bed and bed linen good quality. Large bathroom with both bath and shower, heated towel rail. Bathroom would benefit from modernisation. Temperature in room and bathroom very comfortable. Full size ironing board and iron in room, good quality.
