Our room while adequate was on the road side of the building. It seemed there were people above us jumping around making a bunch of noise. The bathroom was like a locker room. I believe it was made to accommodate a wheel chair as not real shower just a shower head and a drain in the floor. I feel let down for the price.

The common area of the Inn was very nice. The lounge was very cozy. The staff was friendly and nice. Nice country location.

The bathroom was tired and in need of some TLC. But that's being picky ;)

It was lovely to have a log burner in the bedroom which I made full use of. The bed itself was firm and comfortable, an excellent nights sleep. A meal in the restaurant in the evening was cooked to perfection, a rare fillet steak rested perfectly. But to top all these the attitude and attentiveness of the staff really made me feel welcome. Would I stay again ? Without doubt.

The restaurant was very well decorated and felt cozy yet sophisticated. In addition the lounge and breakfast areas provided an authentic coaching Inn feel. The general manager was a delight and helpful with Scotch selection and planning meals around trips into St. Andrews. Also a wonderful view of the stars if you get lucky with cloud coverage.

The Wi-Fi connection could use some improvement — quite often it would just stop working.

The room was spacious, clean, beds incredible comfortable, spacious shower, kettle and teas, but the best part was the view — skies and wheat field with a terrace to boot. The main hall has a very nice atmosphere — not too fancy, but very cosy and warm! The food is fantastic, breakfast and dinner — lovely selection of dishes and drinks! The staff went above and beyond and were always very helpful!

There is nothing else I can say about this hotel other than I would highly recommend it x

The location is quiet but close to St Andrews and surrounding areas. The hotel is unusual that the rooms are all outside and I loved that layout. Rooms are spacious and clean with ensuite bathroom. \Evening meals and breakfast were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful Great place to stay
