Breakfast average. Coffee was always cold. Food lukewarm. Staff not friendly - a smile and how are you? would go a long way.

Good size room with all you needed including tea/coffee, biscuits etc. Toiletries provided. Shower was excellent. JUDE at reception was brilliant - helpful and friendly. More staff like her would be an asset. HOUSEKEEPING STAFF also very good.

My wife would say that the bathroom mirrors are'nt helpful for make-up - too high.

Very good find for two stopovers to and from Newcastle from Bracknell - just off M1. Hotel very welcoming. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Room very spacious and comfortable, clean and quiet. Menus are fine and reasonable, with good choice. Breakfast is cooked to order, a big plus. All in all, very good value, and would recommend for travel (and local). Fine and a good find. Well done and thanks to all involved - staff and group.

Everything!!! Location great, even better than Sat Nav as we saw it from the main road. Evening meal and breakfast scrumptious. Rooms extremely spacious and my pet hate was not founded....they had good lighting and a socket next to a mirror for a lady to do her hair!!

It would have been great if the kitchen had still been open later (on a Saturday night), but I can understand that they'd probably not have many late evening customers for food.

They were very accommodating -- I had a concert in Sheffield that night, so was able to pick up the room key quite early, making returning to the hotel after the concert much easier. The room was great -- nice size, _very_ comfortable bed, nice shower, good towels, very pleasant staff. Location for the M! terrific, and also easy access into Sheffield. Surprisingly quiet inside given it's location.

One bar staff member was particularly unhappy at the treatment she was receiving from head office. It was wrong of this person to vocalise this to guests. 60 year old.

What a surprise, a fantastic hotel with excellent staff, excellent facilities and outstanding rooms. Ample free car parking. The food was outstanding plus the choice of beers and lagers.

The hotel/restaurant was lovely and the room was excellent. Nice little touches like a little personal note left with a chocolate, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was designed beautifully. The tea tray was fully stocked, even with a hot chocolate which I enjoyed. The hotel receptionist was really helpful as to the lady serving behind the bat that evening. I ordered room service, which they didnt mind the evening meal was lovely. I couldnt fault the place and would stay again.

We could not fault our stay, the room was spotless and the staff were friendly. We didn’t eat dinner there but the restaurant was fully booked so I assume the evening food is good! We did however have breakfast which was lovely

N/a, it was absolutely lovely!

So beautiful! Once here and in the hotel area, it’s so tranquil and peaceful. Even though it’s located very conveniently and closely off a main road, you can hear absolutely no road noise from the bedrooms. It was decorated beautifully, with a very popular bar and restaurant area!
