Positioning of Tv. Bed too hard. Only one bedside cabinet. No milk for the coffee or tea. Felt a little second class New Years eve. Shoved on a bare table behind the stage so couldn't see anything. Price of beers lagers too expensive, £6 for a Guinness, shocking.......

The room was warm. Bathroom nice size. Clean, but traces of dog hairs.

There was no heating in the room. This could not be fixed so we were provided with an oil heater at some point when we were out for the evening. However this was not switched on. So when we came back to the hotel at 11pm the room was still very cold. Would have been great if the heater had been switched on so that the room would have been warm when we came back at 11 pm.

The staff at reception were very helpful. Room was ready so we checked in early at 12 noon. Free parking at the hotel and surrounding area. Tram stop within 100 meters of the hotel.

Advertised on website as Adult only it certainly wasn’t I’ve no issue with kids but if I book a break that’s adult only I expect it to be so. Breakfast was a shambles waited in queue for eggs for 10 mins, kids playing with coffee machine, orange juice watered down so couldn’t even tell what was ment to be, squashed in, paid for breakfast for 2 nights didn’t even attempt to have breakfast second day wasn’t worth the hassle.

Lovely female member of staff that had been there 17 years

Not the staffs fault but parking was limited and we got got there 2 hours before check in. Not all the cars parked had people staying at the hotel so the car park was packed.

Didn’t have breakfast. For where we was going location was fine.

Check in times. Had to wait 2 hours despite hotel being pretty empty. Would expect more if price was much higher

Good value for money at under £45 for decent room and all you can eat breakfast. It is dated and could do with some TLC but it was very comfortable.

Room cold at first, with one of the two radiators not working and a window stuck open. Confusion as usual about check-in time, Late time given (4pm) but then when booking a drop-down box asks what time you want to arrive - we said 2-3 and turned up then but were told to wait until 4pm. Booking.com need to sort this out - is the box still there because of extra time needed during Covid? It is a source of confusion and irritation.

Its hard for hoteliers in Blackpool, but poor standards are not the way to attract more business.

The room by comparison was poor. Bedroom small and in need of decoration. Faded paint work. Windows dirty with very dated curtains. The bathroom was in awful condition. I struggle to understand how a hotel group like this could have an inspection system that deemed it to be of standard. Rotten silicon around around the wall to floor joins and bath. Holes in the wall. Shower rail held together with masking tape. Ceiling light hanging down over the bath. The bath taps appeared to be being held in place by isopon. The towel rail had several holes drilled near the mountings where presumable earlier rails had been. These had not been filled and some even had the old rawl plug still inside and faulty towers'esk the current rail isn't even level. Could be made a lot better with a couple of £100 spent.

The public areas of the hotel were very nice with well maintained period decor. The bar, reception and restaurant having beautiful panelled walls and ornate ceilings.
