Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe worst thing here was a bright green emergency light above the door. We asked after the first night if there's anything one can do about it and were told with a laugh, "Oh, yes, EVERYONE complains about that!" We were told it's a legal requirement in the UK, but we never saw it in any other hotel. I've never stayed anywhere you literally cannot turn the lights off in your room at night; without sleep masks, it would have been impossible to stay there. It was so bright one could read by it! The awful Wetherspoons tackiness is unavoidable--cartoonish menus and ads everywhere, flashing brightly colored slot machines, etc. It must have once been quite a lovely historical building and it's sad to see it stained by the JDW taint.
The price was fine for what one got: the bed was clean and comfortable, the water was hot. Despite the busy pub downstairs, it was very quiet in the rooms. The location was perfect and even included parking. Everything's a bit wonky--floors are slanted, doors don't fit right--but it only gives it an authentic charm.
