Tea and coffee served by the cup, it would be nice to have a pot for a couple of cups at breakfast.

Beautiful setting right on Cannizaro park. The rooms are very comfortable and it is excellent value. Our breakfast was excellent! I really enjoyed our stay and will be coming again.

Car Park hidden cost. £200.00 deposit upon arrival.

Staff, especially in the restaurant (Kristin especially) were attentive and personable. Reception frustrated me with a £200.00 deposit request, which I declined. Additionally, the hidden £12.00 car parking charge upon arrival is a sharp practice, I believe this to be morally wrong.

The food in the restaurant was very mediocre. For the money that is paid per night, they could really improve it. The dinner as well as the breakfast could really do a touch up. The staff in the kitchen were friendly, however front desk was useless when you asked for assistance with luggage despite being 6 months pregnant!!! They kept me waiting 40 minutes and then when I asked if any help was going to come, was snapped at that there wasn’t any help that would be coming.

I loved the landscape that the property is on; wonderful park to take a walk in in the mornings. Rooms are nicely spaced

The hotel is a little tired in terms of painted wooden surfaces in the room The room I was in was not accessible by lift - there was a set of stairs - however, the staff were very helpful and arranged for my luggage to be moved. It took me a while to figure out how to use the shower - when I did it was great!

I liked the large room with the ability to open a window and get fresh air. I liked the location very much and specifically choose the hotel for this reason

Slightly noisy room with an extractor that didn't switch off. Needed earplugs! Book your taxi with plenty of time too if you're going in to Wimbledon as traffic can be busy!

Lovely hotel, very pretty and not far from the centre of Wimbledon Village. Lovely breakfast and my room was comfortable, large enough and clean. I received an upgrade on the day I arrived

Shower design needs attention and the overall place is feeling tired. For a beautiful place things like the curtains should be hung properly and light bulbs should be changed.

The access to the park was lovely. The suite was lovely and spacious. Garden. Breakfast on the terrace was nice.

For some weird reason the hotel management decided to execute maintenance work in the hotel during the morning (and before our check out time). We have woken up to a very unpleasant hard banging that sounded like literally coming from our ajacent room. We called reception and they did attend the issue having the works stop, but said it will have to resume at 10am. We went down to the lobby to discuss this further at reception, and they allow us to extend our check out time in an hour (12 instead of 11). Waking up around 9:00 to an awfull noise by the hotel's maintance crew was really a shame, but at least they addressed the issue and offer a light compensation.

The rooms are tidy, pleasant and beautiful. The surroundings are absolutely stunning- picturesque scenery and greenery with The Italian Gardens, Richmond park nearby etc. The energie in the hotel is very nice, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was really nice!

Nothing really wrong with the they stay, just a few little improvements - The shower/ bath set up I found unusual. No ledge at all around bath for products to be placed so had to fashion a table. It's also a high step in so something to be aware of if you have issues. The raised plug is right underneath the shower so you need to be aware not to trip on it. - Heated rail didn't seem to work (though it rarely does in hotels I've found) - Due to nature of the building, noise does travel - Sauces at breakfast would have been nice

Overall pleasant stay, was only there for 1 night so a comfortable bed and clean room were the main concerns - Spacious room - Nice location on the park, pleasant view from room and at breakfast - Staff I encountered were friendly - Bed was comfy - Appreciated the robe and slippers supplied

We felt the staff were quite unhelpful. when questions were asked they always seemed unsure of an answer and we found it quite frustrating that no one seemed to want to find a solution/answer. Felt we were overcharged for our stay when we tried sorting the payment and adding an extra night.

The whole property felt luxurious. met our expectations for a good stay.

A problem with the room key but sorted out immediately, however access to the second floor rooms was limited to a lift and a rear staff entrance/ fire escape

Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices on the buffet table Location of the conservatory restaurant was perfect and a great outlook of local people enjoying the grounds of the park

The property is in need of redecoration. The common areas are tired in need of cleaning and painting. The rooms are also in need of modernisation. They are dark the carpets need a clean and the furniture is tired and worn. I understand it to be in keeping with the hotel however I have stayed twice in the last 2 years as the property is perfectly located for me. I’d hoped it would have improved from last year but it has not Considering the price of staying it needs to be better. Much better

The location was excellent. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is always good with plenty of choice

Be aware that the ‘dog package ‘ is £30 per night !!! If a wedding is taking place then an early night is not an option because of the music . We weren’t told that breakfast times vary , so husband was not happy to lose his cooked breakfast on day 2 of our stay .

The location overlooking Cannizzaro Park is gorgeous . We took our dog with us so it was a bonus to have beautiful walks on our doorstep . It’s a 15 minute walk to Wimbledon Village from the hotel . The staff were generally helpful and breakfast really good .
