Beautiful farmhouse, set in lovely countryside. Zoe was the perfect host. Lovely breakfast and the homemade biscuits were lovely. Room and communal areas were very clean, Zoe even lit the log burner for us in the lounge.

A very warm welcome from Zoe who went out of her way to make us feel at home . Fabulous choice of breakfast , very peaceful and quiet on the farm and only 15-20 minutes away from the A1 . We would love to return again .

What was not to like? There was no lift, but one wouldn't be expected in such a premises.

Gorgeous farmhouse B&B with friendly attentive host. Location a little surprising, in that the distance down a somewhat isolated track had us guessing for a while if we had taken a wrong turning, but well worth the journey. Our hosts provided us with a homemade sandwiches, and cake tea in the evening, delicious and very welcome as was the breakfast. Thank you.

Although in the middle of nowhere the location and facilities are excellent. We were greeted by Zoe and immediately made to feel welcome and part of the family. Apart from the room there are two lounges downstairs one with books one with a large TV. Zoe was also on hand for any further requirements.

lovely comfortable bed, little touches such as dressing gown and extra heater in room. Also her amazing home made biscuits. There were only the two of us for breakfast, but Zoe had set out lots of fresh fruit, we loved the porridge, and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Only distraction was the noisy drainage from the en suite. A necessary evil I guess. Unfortunately the double power sockets fitted at low level don't accommodate all types of appliance due to the lack of room below the socket. The bumpy road to the property, which is down to the local council to sort, is a minor inconvenience.

Peaceful setting. Friendly hostess. Good facilities. Ample breakfast... Plenty of choice. Overall, a very comfortable, relaxing and pleasant stay.

The only qualm was the mattress from my husbands perspective which he mentioned to Zoe.

Very welcoming and friendly. The environment was peaceful and just what we expected. Zoe very kindly accomodated our grandson on the booking and we really appreciated that. The room was spacious, tasteful with beautiful linens, all great quality. Breakfast included, fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt, cooked options with toast, coffee and tea, what more could you want?

A beautiful location, amazing room, lovely host, banging breakfast and gorgeous little touches like locally made soap / shampoo bar, a great tea selection in the room and the cutest shortbread biscuits! Zoe was a fantastic host, even offered us a taxi service to and from the wedding we were attending. The mattress was firm, (which for us is preferred), the room was huge, the shower was hot! Couldnt ask for any more! We may have to book again next Spring and bring our daughter to stay on a working farm and see the animals! Highly recommend and Zoe, thank you for such a perfect stay!

There was nothing to dislike

What a beautiful place. Immaculately clean. Due to the location, taxis are rare, Zoe very kindly was our taxi to and from a wedding nearby. The location is fabulous and really peaceful. The breakfast was amazing. The absolute bonus was a chance to meet a 6 week d puppy. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.

A lovely welcome from the host. Secluded rural location. Large room with ensuite facilities & little added extras. Great breakfast with many choices of how much or little you want. Ample parking and no restriction on our return from evening meal. Light supper option available if requested. Host messaged prior to our arrival with precise directions, which was greatly appreciated, as satnav not accurate. We would definitely recommend it and use it again if we were in the area.
