Location. We have family nearby. Really comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. Great enclosed garden. Dog can wander and play. Garden is currently in full bloom and looks stunning. Host always leaves an extremely generous welcome pack of basics - and some not so basics. The decaf coffee pods are a real treat for us. Check in and out always managed smoothly and on the very rare occasion we've had any problem, the host has been straight out to sort it.

The owner was so welcoming and just made us feel like it was our home all the little touches and food on arrival. I loved the log fire the garden just all of it! Most of all the dogs adores it just loved the garden and they loved looking out at it. The kitchen is amazing the amenities are fabulous! Just absolutely everything is perfect! The owner has this perfect!!!

The only blip was that the gardeners came during our stay, and let their dogs loose in the garden - not checking if ours was there. They let them poo in the garden and just left it there. We watched them from the lounge but didn't confront them as we didn't want to make waves for the owners.

Location is great for us. The house is comfortable, warm and well-equipped. Bed is wonderfully comfy.

Some of the garden furniture was a little tired and a barbecue would have been a nice option. This did not distract from our stay though.

A lovely property in stunning setting in reach of some stunning places to walk. The property itself is huge with grounds to match. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen very well equipped. Contact from Marie is first class and she readily agreed to a late checkout.

Couldn't find a grill pan anywhere.

Lovey, spacious, and airy house. Fabuulous welcome pack and little Easter decorations dotted around the place. Stylish decor and a fantastic large garden to sit in the sun 🌞. Friendly host who was helpful and easy to keep in touch with.

Honestly, nothing. The hob was a little tricky but we managed to work out how to use it. This is our third stay here and we love it.

Location is excellent for us. Central to everywhere we need to go. Lovely village. Marie is great at arranging arrival - very flexible, and always ready to answer questions about the property/facilities.

The garden fence had a few holes in so if bringing a dog that likes to explore this could be an issue, it's only a small point as otherwise the garden is fantastic as is the whole house and you can't get a better location on the wirral.

A rare find, the location is excellent, very private large garden and lots of private parking. Excellent house, because of the high ceilings it feels much bigger than it is.

My only issue...and it is very specific to me...was no handrail on the stairs. Had hip replacement 7 weeks ago and can manage stairs, but handrail would have made life easier and would have felt much more secure. My husband had no problem at all. No door on ensuite bathroom...so mainly used other bathroom.

Everything. Lovely house. Peaceful. Comfortable. Especially appreciated the decaff coffee pods! Not many places think of decaff. Marie welcomed us and filled us in on good local places that are dog friendly. Super stay.

Sharper knives and a door to the en-suite in master bedroom.

Location, house, garden were wonderful. We also enjoyed all the breakfast hamper that awaited us. It made for a perfect little holiday and we would happily book again.
